heres some of what ive done. i dont draw often at all. the past 2 (house and bale) were the first time in a year

math class last year, just a little fun

nice worki'd just say on the faces try to add a little more tone with the rendering as if there's a definite light source, it really makes the face pop
 
forgot this one. i wish i had a better scanner, but its too small to scan big pictures. i got lazy with the coloring

Dumont would be pleased with the first one. Any kind of dinosaur is fucking dope. And that last one looks damn near real. Props.
 
made props man, notebook lined papers how i do, ha yea i got a ton of stuff like this its all pretty damn fun, but those faces are dope, im bad at prespective ha so theyre sweet as hell
 
the andrew forwards and backwards was sick

all of them were to be honest, you have some real talent
 
man... if you incorporated other media (ink or charcoal) your drawing could be even better. next time you draw something try focusing on the lights and darks and really exaggerate them (chiaroscuro). It'll give them that "pop" and make them even more lifelike and impressive.
 
I like the ambigram, Ive made one in Illustrator before, though it was like cheating, because I could do half of it, then tweak it, then duplicate it. Ironically I used my name Andrew too.
 
yeah i try to do that, but my scanner makes it all monotonous. i think i probably will get some charcoal though, cause this dark pencil just isnt doing it
 
word. because charcoal essentially is just a darker pencil.
you should try using ink too, just get a bottle of indian ink and a brush. like for your picture of house, if you did the background in black it would give your portrait that much more "pop" and volume.sick drawings though. props.
 
just finished this... first drawing since the iron man. my scanner didnt pick up on the extra light grays, kinda angry about that. looks better in real life
