Andrea Berchtold is the best south Hemi skier hands down that guy was placing top 5 in world cup moguls, doing triples in Areals at 18 and kills big mountain harder than any of the other Pro ski guys out there hes one of the most under rated skiers on the planet he did a double back in a world cup mogul comp and got kicked of the aussie team, Look at powder hound from a few years back and he does a a fakie 180 to front flip (kanga flip) over a road gap, if he competed on the world big mountain tour he would win the world title but he dont care he is doing hollywood stunt work now and skiing on the side. Any one thats ever gone to momentum camps and watched this guy kill every thing will know what im talking about he will ski a mogul course do a 180 at almost top speed and do a fakie flare and keep skiing. This guy deserves some Hype..
 
but when everyone says "best underrated" he would be rated if he got good coverage and some good marketing behind him... then people would know about him everyone forgets... theres 2 parts to being good at skiing, 1. coverage so people know you 2. being a damn good skier!
 
NAh man Dre is the man the only reason hes not getting his Dues is casue hes aussie, This guy is seriously the man, and he would give Seth a run for his money in big mountain and he can do cab 10s and any double flip with ease, and hes a hollywood stunt man, He does have backing from big sponsors hes sponsored by red bull, salomon and the rip curl international team , Bu since hes always doing stunt work he dont get the play he deserves im gonna find some stuff on him and post it in this thread.

that road gap kanga flip was insane.

theres a vid on here somewhere of him riding a rail at the jindy rail jam, but it doesnt show his skills.

hes just spending too much time off the hill.
 
Henshaw got the whack attitude he aint got shit on Dre that guys is straight up one of the most talented skiers ever to set foot on planet earth no shit that guy is soooo sick, comparing the 2 is like comparing Shitty ass Kiwi beer to dank ass French Wine that just dont happen Dre is the man, that Russ kid is goos but he aint nearly in the same league as DR DRe Andrea is the man... The mack daddy...

dude dre is a sick skiier...he has got the moves...but there is also a lot of other aussie talent down here...russ is awsome...booth...timmins...furguson...and a few otheres...

last i herd dre was at uni up at lismore or somewhere with a few other dudes doin like sports management or somthin like that...

but serioursly it sounds like you are gaging on his shaft

 
not really seth is nasty and everybody knows that

he is a legend and just because he doesnt do comps doesnt mean that people underate him you cant compare him to other newschool skiers
 
if the man can hit jumps switch at high speed in his world cup mogul runs ill just agree with what anyone says.
 
dude the freeskiing big mountain tour is super intense, and i think pretty much all those guys are underrated, right now there is definately more of on park skiing, i just think it is hard for u to say he would own, alot of shit goes into those comps, last year my coach broke his femur, shattered his knee cap broke his tibfib and broke his ankle, after goin to far off one of the drops. those comps are super intense and i dont think u can just asume this guy would when with people like julian carr throwin fronts of 140 footers
 
I compete on the tour dude, my best friend Cory Zila did a cork 7 of a 60 foot cliff at Taos in 05 and stomped the shit out of it, and just got beaten for the Sick bird Award in Kirkwood by Tobius (RIP) I know how underrated all those cats are, but Dre all round would kill it harder people have no idea how much skill that guy has. Julian Carr is Crazy though, but can he place top 5 in world cup moguls, do triples of an areal jump, doa cab 180 front flip over an 80 foot road gap and kill the park ?
 
yeah dre rock. i love the kanga flip, but i admit i havent seen much of his stuff, but what i have seen is unreal

his sis was in the olympic moguls btw
 
sounds like a dope guy, i havnt heard of him but i will look out for this guy, the freeskiing tour is so sick i respect all those guys so much.. its super dope its still pretty down low too those guys progress the sport as much as anyone. They had one comp in upper casper bowl in jackson this year, it got me super stoked to go ski some big lines, i really wanted to do it this year but i am only 15 so that sucks... we r still workin on gettin a junior division goin tho at least at some of the comps
