Aside from the tube that fell down that place doesn't seem to bad, remember, there are places that don't even have rails :)

Dude you live near barrie just go to louis or horseshoe and stop complaining, snow valley is great compared to lots of Ontario hills

yup haha, this is the bottom of 1 of the 3 slopes wich are about 100m each and the height of the hill is about 60m...

but they usually throw up a bigger jump in like late feb, early march and that jump is like 5-6m long...

heres a clip from when i'm going too big/overrotating on the tiny jump we had some week ago... xdd

Bitch please! Compared to the 'park' at Snow Valley when I was still in Ontario that thing is pimp.

There are way WAY shittier parks out there. Not to mention WAY better parks just down the road from you.

i just want to point out that the way the pyramid is set up right now is by far the best, so much more fun when its backwards! also that pole jam looks like it goes to nowhere...

agreed for sure man! my home mountain has nice features right now but not that trickable you know, like at least you have the classic park features (flat rail, down rail etc.)

but still skiing is skiing and almost no matter what is setup and your with your friends its almost always good time

Be grateful that you actually have a local mountain with decent snow coverage AND a not too shabby park.

Very true. I dunno about you guys but in my park we have a lot of visitors since it one of the largest in europe but still, there's a little community among the people who live around the resort and ski not ony during holidays. I know many guys in the resort and i ski with the same people since before the park was what it is today. My homemountain is Vars. Linecatcher use to be at Vars.

Ha try going to Hermon in Maine. I don't go there but they have one wooden rail about a foot off the ground, and a "jump" aka a tire with snow over it.

I'm assuming you live around Bangor, which is where it is located at. . Just ski at Lost Valley if money/time are a problem, or Shawnee, or if you can drive, and have money, Saddleback, Sloaf, SR.

You have it so bad.

Here's what the kids had at the mountain I'm helping right now. I guess it's a pretty sweet park

People will hate everywhere. Just remember for the most part, there are kids stuck at worse mountains wishing they had half the stuff some of you guys complain about. Not saying you shouldn't hope for a better park, and do what you can to get one, or move on to a different mountain, just saying to appreciate what you have sometimes.

The park in that video wasn't the worlds sickest park but it had some decent rail options a jump or two and a euro table type contraption. It seems like they're at least trying.

At the same time I know how frustrating it is to be stuck at a mountain where the park is here, but it should really be 5 times better if they put even a tiny bit of effort into it. Parks at mountains that can drop a few hundred k on a new cat every couple years 50 k here for lodge repairs whatever the hell a lift costs for here, and all of tat but can't put 500 into the park every year.

If you really hate the way your mountain's park is, give them suggestions on what they can do better. Don't be a douche about it though. Nobody likes to have a kid talk down to them about their mountain. Be respectful. Maybe if you give them suggestions there's things they'd be willing to do to make the park better. Set a side some $ for a box that everyone seems to want or something like that. Or if you're old enough talk to them about getting on the park crew there and helping to make the place better.

Dude, that park is actually pretty damn good. Sure, it may not look the prettiest, but it still does its job. Us folks on the prairies do whatever we can to ski, and love every minute of it!

Let's stop focusing on the quality of the park and start focusing on the snowboarder who was standing and the end of the rail with hands on his hips and got his legs swept out from under him by the dude's skis. Hilarity. I watched that part over and over.

No doubt but I'd rather a smaller park than a giant busy one. Mine at home you get some cool kids but most are park rats and assholes. Those parks everyone is just together and it's a good time.
