And to think I thought Sandy was going to drop some snow...

Sandy is quite the disappointment in Maine. A lot of rain, and my power is flickering on and off every now and then. The only good this has brought is school cancellations.

No you won't.

West Virginia is getting it all. Want snow? Roadtrip down to Canaan Valley or Snowshoe.

Already about 8" down at Canaan. They're thinking about spinning the lifts.

And anyone who thinks this storm is an overhyped let down, you're wrong. Well, you're right if you were expecting anything for New England and are more than 15 miles from the shore line.

Lower Manhattan around 8 tonight

"Explosions all around and everything just went dark. East River Station just blew."

you're fucking retarded if you thought there would be snow

oh wait, you probably heard it through the rumor mill and didn't watch a forecast for a second

this, no kidding, its a tropical storm. it could have been zero degrees at your house, the air from the storm is so much warmer, if anything itd just turn to ice when it hit the ground. the storm itself has to be cold in order for it to even have a chance of snowing.

the humid air sandwiched between the tropical storm and the cold band of air moving across the country are dumping 3ft of snow

I don't think you want snow really. Unless all of the trees have dropped their leaves. Leave on trees+snow=no power forever and a clusterfuck of damage everywhere.

above 2500', yeah. Just sayin, moisture is being brought in by a warm tropical storm.

And yes, 1337, snow is from the clash of the cold front.
