ok i understand they slaughter animals in america and shit too, but jesus christ, did anyone watch it as far as to see the fucking racoon, FULLY SKINNED, and still alive? like no exaggeration here. it had no skin left not even on its head or anything, and it was still sitting there breathing and everything. what the fuck is up with that. how much harder would it be the fucking club it or something before they go and rip its fucking skin off. jesus christ. i understand its this guys job and everything but c'mon. kill the little guy before you go and fucking rip all of its skin off. can you even begin to imagine how much pain youd be in if someone ripped all of your skin off while you were still alive? i mean i imagine youd eventually go into shock or something and not feel it as much but think of the psychological trama. my god i dotn even know what to say anymore.
 
I watched 10 seconds of the video alittle over an hour ago and it's still bothering me, I wish one of us had enough power to do something.
 
I've seen some fucked up shit on the intrawebz but i still couldnt watch it after the racoon (?) got skinned alive.

2)is it sad that they are alive....yes.......want my possible explination for it?......little to no refrigeration means that they have to keep the animal alive longer so it stays fresher.Now why wouldnt they wait to skin it? I have no fucking idea....chinese are very tradition based, it could be a tradition....but i have no fucking idea. They do shit over there differently than we do....is it right....depends on ur veiwpoint...to them it is for us not so much.....is it the basis to say that they shouldnt have the olympics...absolutely not.

fuck, i got like 15 seconds in to the point where he was skinning the animal live and just said no, not fucking happening, thats fucking disgusting, this is why my family buys free range everything, shit like that is disgusting
 
Ever see the cows that we have in our country that have the big hole in them so that we can reach in and feel around for what they eat and how its digesting? Crazy isnt it... The cow thing i can kind of see, usually they do it so that they can find cures for animal problems and give them medicine. As for this completly fucked up. Couldnt finish it, but its PETA propaganda keep that in mind. still absolutly discusting

Ive seen milk cows a number of times, they dont have the best life but they get a comfotable bed in a barn and all the food they could want. I dont see whats so bad with that, cant say i have ever been to a slaughter house so i dont know how they get furs and meat here but i know they dont do it like this.
 
i know this is bad and all, but i'm surprised at how many of your are in shock. Dont you guys realize there are sick fucking people out there? yeah theres some chinese people that fuck up animals and what not, but what about the rapists and serial killers here in america? Don't get me wrong I'm totaly agaisnt this, but i guess it didnt shock me as much as you guys cuz i know that it happens EVERYWHERE and there are worse things out there.

Wow there are some fucked up people out there. I don't care where there from, I mean it's one thing to skin animals, everyone needs to make a living somehow. But to torture and skin them alive, that is an abomination, I honestly cant believe there are some people that have the morals to go through with this. I simply don't understand why they cant just kill the animal first, and than skin them.
 
I can normaly handle stuff like this and watch cruelty to animals/humans with almost total indeference but that was really hard to watch.

That's fucking disgusting. What I don't get is why don't they actually kill the animal first so it doesn't have to experience all that pain? I have no problem eating meat but I think it's absolutely disgusting that they don't kill the animal first before skinning it
 
fuck u dave, its a day after watching that video and the shot where they hold the camera close to the racoons face and show the fear in its eyes is still haunting me. It pains me to think that humans can do such inhumane things to other living creatures.
 
The pictures on that site are fucking horrible. It would be more effective if the person who typed everything up knew basic grammar.

The thread creator's video is absolutely disgusting. After the dude smacked it on the ground and you saw that raccoon's face i had to turn it off because it was so horrible. However, that has nothing to do with having the olympics in China. If you honeslty think that the way some people in a country do business reflects the entire country's beliefs and integrity, then you're ignorant.
 
remember that there are a lot of people in china, there is actually a smaller percentage people that do cruel things to animal in china than the US. I dont like china much because of human rights, but if they want to change, than I am ready to accept them to be a great country.
 
i have a couple issues with this thread.

first, this video should not have been introduced in the way it was. china has a lot of problems, but this is not a legitimate argument for whether they should or shouldn't have been allowed to host the olympics. by posting it this manner, you may attract more viewers but you also further the propaganda strereotypes associated with animal rights media. as fucked up as this may be, you should've been honest and up front about what it was and provided a little backstory to the issue. and maybe suggestions for what you can do to prevent it (i.e. a list of american retailers that buy chinese fur).

second. yes, there are animal rights issues all over the world. "deal with it" IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE. whether its one occurance or millions it is still wrong to brutalize a living thing.

there was something else too, but i can't remember. whatever. this video does illustrate one of many examples of the fucked up shit that happens in our world.
 
na thats way rough. they skinned one of those animals alive! its funny that the asians in nz are protesting because they feel they get treated diferently, well no wonder!

Honestly though, I don't see why they couldn't kill it before they skinned it. Atleast cut it's throat or something. Pretty fucked up that they didn't. That thing was probably alive for 10 minutes afterwards.

messed up video. but that stuff happens in the US, we just do it in factories and make it seem legit. If this was an argument that they abuse animals, so they shouldn't be allowed to host the games it failed.

Shit, just here in boulder I called an animal control guy to take care of some coons and he wasn't friendly to them. I'm not saying he was body slamming them on the ground, clearly that's wrong. But its different cultures man and some cultures don't agree with animal rights. They'll come around, humans haven't fully matured socially.
