Dumont is an amazing skier.. but that doesnt give him the right to hate on kids who choose to ski with or with out poles... Kids like that buy salomon stuff, they buy oakley gear, they buy nike stuff his JOB is to be a postive role model for the sport hating on kids like that just makes him look like an unprofessional little dick head.. good skier or not its not gonna make your DICK grow any bigger!!

AS for dumont as a person I dont know him soo wont hate , but i could see why people may dislike him.. Nike 6.0 is sick.. dumont on the Team or not Jossi's still there best skier.

but its tough for a person to enter a niche market with little financial backing. as nike sees the potential to make more money in a small market with no prominent companies that dominate the market. therefore, for nike to enter a market and throw it financial weight around and potentially crush a lot of start up companies.

if we're gonna talk about sellouts, danny kass leaving HIS OWN COMPANY to ride for nike is fucking ludicrous. when dumont stops wearing empire shit for some new huge company thats throwing money at him, then he really needs to be flamed.

thank you... ive met him... and sure hes cocky and has a little attitude... but hes also really nice... and if i was as good as him, and had everything he had... im sure i would be cocky too... im not saying all people are like that but look at tanner a couple years back, ESPECIALLY in the movie pop yer bottles... the best go through phases like this i think... now tanners mellowed out and is doing what he loves in the BC... and fuck off those of you who dis him for spinning one way, although he spins one way he still better than you, i dont see you battling him in any comps. so seriously get over yourselves and quit being jealous.

Nike is a pretty shitty company. Up there with Wal-Mart. Honestly I personally dont want them to have anything to do with the ski industry because the only reason they are here is because they see more money to be made. Chances are they will never make a quality product that is actually worth the price tag for skiers, because they have never made anything all that nice in the past for any other sport. Just a lot of overpriced, sweatshop crap.

This just makes Dumont seem more like Ryan Sheckler to me. Not denying he is a great skier, but you shouldnt be repping the industry if you are an asshole, its just a better way of making the entire community look bad. So since skiers are getting so big, whats next, a reality show? I'd like to see you guys defend "Pete O is 35 and still drunk."

The term Sellout has sold out. Honestly quit using it, it's for more $$ and who wouldnt wanna be sponsored by nike? I love nike's stuff and if I could get their stuff for free that would be amazing.
 
he's a little cocky dick, with a napolean complex, how bout that. he's incredibly talented skiing, but has the maturity of a 13 year old, i mean he's in his 20s and makes fun of kids who potentially look up to him. also there are interviews (actually i think its in yeah dude)where he states about being motivated by the money, which would fit in the definition of "selling out."

and theoz, i'd argue jossi is the best skier on 6.0, hard to pick between jossi, sammy and TJ.
 
tj's on Nike?? i dig that dudes skiing nice dude too.. but i think jossi is better i skied alot with him when i was younger competeing and shit and that kid honestly kills big mountain too!
 
Thats just my point. I really dont like seeing anyone come even close to that. No matter how much cash and "exposure" it brings to skiing.

How much have those things really helped skateboarders. None of the technology is any better, sure there are a few more cool parks, but the only real huge difference is that there are a few clowns who can skate who make way more money than anyone ever should and have absolutely mind numbingly dumb reality shows.

Im sorry guys, but from what I see skiing is doing alright. We dont need to be a sport where everyone who does alright in competition makes obscene amounts of cash. This isnt a dig at Simon, hes a great skier and gets the recognition he deserves. I'm just stating my opinion.

Dumont kills it though, nice or not,.. i dont care anyone that does 23 foot cork 9s is dope in my book grab or no grab.. but Jossi is a way better skier
