I got one of those, but it also does video editing, web surfing, and a lot of other things. It's call a computer.

The x-box WAS a computer, so I'm assuming this will be as well. Can't wait to see how sick this thing runs hacked.

Anyway, When i buy a console, i buy its because of the games, I havent seen any game list to x-box 360 so i cant really say if it will suck or not. X-box didnt have any good game(expect amped2).

oh man your in a world of surpirze then... cuz all broadcast stations are soon going to be HDTV, meaning that you cant view even your local 5,9,12,19,64 or whatever on a standard tv. it will ONLY BE HD signals.

this should be in effect around 2010... ya got 5 years of that shitty tv left so invest in HDTV now, they are getting pretty cheap, 28" for $539.99

xbox is about to release 2 consoles and ps2 has nothing on it. ive had my ps2 since 1998... 7 years and still no PS3

i love PS2 dont get me wrong but they need to produce. i know that the programmers for PS2 have finally within the past few years found out how to actually use what they have and thats why the graphics have been 1000X better on new games compared to old ones.

but they need soemthing new in order to compete with microsoft i think.

I Hate to say it, but no matter what, a top of the line PC will always be better, both for functionality, gaming...everything.

There have been PC's out for months that can crush the Xbox 2's GPU and CPU in processing power. Say what you want, but I have NEVER been impressed by any new console, and nothing can change that. A good PC can beat andy console out there any day at what the console is made to do, plus it can do so much more.

I just said that everyone is making a big deal out of the technology... yes, it's good for a console, but the same (or similar) technology has been available to PC's for months.

Yes, I am aware that PC's aren't mass produced in a sweatshop in China, and that they are significantly more expensive.

comeon you of all people should know they have differnt interfaces and cant relate to one another.

i dont see people playing WOW on a console, it jsut doesnt work like that. it has to be programmed to run on a TV not a monitor.

and D-loc, you'll be happy to know that 1080i Hi-definition video is at a resolution of 1920x1080, but that doesnt change anything.

And Forza Motorsport Graphics? Well, if you havent seen them yet, here are some screenshots of the new Unreal 3 engine, slated to be out for PC's about the time the Xbox 360 comes out...

Who cares how long its been available to people for, its not like they can afford it anyways. Unlike the Xbox 360 which has capabilities of running Half Life 2 with such ease on full blown settings and still be able to provide all of the enternainment values all for a very reasonable price.

consoles are only good for sports games or if your too blazed to walk to your computer. otherwise i hate them. Playing shooters or anything else on them is a joke. Like Vice City.. so much better on PC. i sold my ps2 a couple years ago and bought parts and built a custom comp with blue lights and a big window and a pimp graphics card instead

but if the ninthward game is sick i'll buy one just for that

yes i have monster component cables which are nitrogen injected for my HDTV... but do any games support it besides 1?

NOPE only 1 game out for xbox right now supports 1080, most are 480 and many are now becoming 720.

so yeah the TV can do it but no games support the 1080, so its pointless at this point.

yeah im saying no game on PC has the physics of forza motorsport, its fucking incredibly realistic.
