does carbon have any pop!?! what are you talking about. it is all dependent on how its laid up, but YES. it is like a far supieror version of fiberglass, which is where almost all f the pop in a ski comes from. the pop comes from the stressing on all the horizontal layers, and a CF ski would be insane. and besides, if 800 dollars, itll be better than almost anything else.

what ski is 10cm shorter?

at a demo i asked about carbon fiber skis and they said they whistle at speed and arent as good as they are mad out to be

 
hahahahha, whoever said that carbon fiber is a flex specific material is mistake. Carbon fiber is more rigid that solid steel. Thats what makes carbon fiber so expensive, cause its so lightweight yet so strong. Im really sure that they made the whole body of the enzo ferrari carbon fiber cuase they felt it would be better to have a support flexible car.

 
its all in the design but realisticaslly i dont see CF as a near future option
