They may be crazy, but they aren't stupid.. its not a purely ideological war that they are waging against us, it has to do with our support of israel, and our incursion onto saudi land during the first (and now second) gulf war. I mean this is kind of shaky ground Im on here trying to justify 9/11 from the viewpoint of Al Qaeda, but everyone has reasons for doing stuff, my main point is that the whole radical islam thing is an excuse and a recruiting tool for the militarization against the west.

i just want to point out that the israel is by no means the innocent victim in this conflict. Israeli's are also committing many atrocities and committing numerous human rights violations against palestinians. Palestinians live in poverty with little to no chance of succeeding in life because of the harsh treatment and restricions put upon them by israel. they are constantly being bullied and treated like second class citizens. for example the bulldozing of houses on palestinian land to make way for illegal jewish settlements or the blockades and raiding of palestinian settlements. I don't condone the killing of innocent civilians from either side but i do believe the palestinians are justified in using force against israeli soldiers. I realize that this argument is one sided and palestinians are far from innocent as well but i thought many people were ignoring the hardships of the palestinians.
