Ancient skis found in Norway

187s too. Dude was core before being core was a thing.

Bro 7 inches wide, homie was rocking them 177 underfoot powder boards. He definitely was a certified shredder.

A new leader in sustainability has emerged: hand-built, custom made, biodegradable, very few emissions, and locally sourced materials.

Joking aside, that was a cool read. Yesterday I was reading one of the Icelandic sagas and they actually mentioned skiing a few times, which is funny to imagine Vikings skiing around Norway a thousand years ago.

Too much taper for my taste. But they seem durable for being this old and still holding up. Wonder how they carve. Anyone tried the 755 Model? Seemed a bit more stable with less taper

Homie musta sent it big if they only found 1 ski. Love the all wood topsheet, makes sense to save weight touring, looks like they figured this shit out a long time ago.

Seriously tho cool read, I wasn’t expecting them to be so old, that’s awesome, where’s the boots?

Damn i’m feeling pretty stale with the wood topsheets on our skis, does this make them played out or just extra wavy?

Not sure about pairing that amount of camber with that deep taper though.

If they go up for sale the add will probably read something like, minor surface rust on edges wich is common for skis of this age

Make sure you take them to a reputable shop to get them mounted. Seems like it'd be tough to find another pair if they fuck it up.

I hope they find me in 1000 years mid scorp with some moments stuck to my feet, call it my deathwish.
