ok first off i didnt think it was complete shit, it did have me laughing at some points. but for the most part the movie seemed like one big patheticly drawn out SNL sketch. it was full of forced joke after joke which never stayed consistant. all in all, id say its a renter if that...

anchorman had me laughing, granted, but i concur with the idea of it being just a forum for ferrel and his buddies to be random...

and since it has been brought up, im finally getting off my a to go see a screening of ND, and to collect my free t shirt tonight...

^^Wow Lauren...you're the first person I've ever heard agree with me on that point. Never once has Will Ferrel been very funny...in anything.

SNL? Come on, those were the absolute worst years of the show.

A Night At The Rocksbury? The entire movie was total shit. Chris Kataan is worst than will ferrel. One of the worst SNL skits ever made into the worst SNL movie.

Old School? Another mediocre movie with Will Ferrel in a minor role. Just not as funny as the hype.

JASBSB? He played a minor role which still wasnt very funny.

Zoolander? Ok, this could be one of the most obnoixioius movies I have ever seen. I could actually feel my I.Q. dropping as I watched this movie. Not only was Will Ferrel bad in this movie, so was Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.

^ Thats what it seems like. I thought it was pretty good. If you went to see it expecting another Old School or somthing you came in with false hopes. I went in to see some cheap laughs and one-liners, and thats what I got.

i loved anchorman, i was laughing for pretty mucht the whole thing, as was the rest of the theater. ND looks awesome, too, doesn't come out around here until the 24th i think. they're just two entirely different brands of comedy, but they both work for me.

i liked it, because will ferrel is the man, but i was expecting more out of it, after seeing all the previews and shit

Well, I for one loved this movie. TV and pop culture have basically told me that 'random is the new funny,' and consequently I laughed my ass off when Jack Black kicked a fucking puppy off a bridge, and when Steve Carrel threw a trident into a guy's stomach. C'mon, how can that fight scene not be the funniest thing you've ever seen?! A bunch of news guys beating eachother with ancient weapons, and Ben Stiller playing a spanish guy?! He doesn't even look spanish! It's more like he was just pulled from the set of Dodgeball one day to do a quick scene in Anchorman... Anyway, I loved it, I didn't expect much from it, I was satisfied.

i don't like will farrell's jokes most of the time, but i respect him for what he's doing. he's enthousiastic, that's what i like about him
