Anal Mini-Disc Player!

Alright, my MD player is being wicked anal and now I cant record freaking songs onto it. Its the sony one with the 'digital pc link' think. So you plug that cable into the USB port than attach the optical cable thingy to the mini disc player...pressing 'record' and nothings doing. Im doing everything right that I can remember, anyone have any idea of whats going on?

I think I have the same one...does it just not record the music or not read that there is music even coming through it?

 
its a 'sony recording md walkman MZ-R900'..yeah I go into winamp, select a playlist with the songs I want then press 'rec' on my MD player then when it starts to play my MD player says 'no signal' which means no music is getting through...maybe I need a new digital link thing...

its a cable thing eh, run a search for new hardware or search the ports(i think this is possible) on your comp when the minidisk is hooked up, it should detect it and solve all your problems, worked for mine when mine was doing the same thing

dude, if u have the newer one, u have to run it though the program, openMG juke box, then imprt them, then 'check out' (burn)

 
are you sure you have switched your sound device over to the md one? You have to go to your sound properties and change the output device.

Yeah so I used to be able to just plug in my digitallink cable to my MD player and play in winamp and it recorded without having to switch the output device. But I did what you guys said and I got it working fine with this MP3 to MD program thing I d/led...Thanks for all your help!
