shits rigged. i was going for ottawa the whole season and then boom, they just fall apart in the finals. all i know is if the sens played the finals like they did against the sabres, we would have murked the quackers

I'm sorry, but the Anaheim Mighty Ducks don't exist anymore. They're just the Ducks now and they're a bunch of dirtbags. Actually, just Pronger and May. Assholes.
 
^^^ man i dont care if they change the name, I was growing up when the ducks movies were out and to me there always gona be the MIGHTY ducks, and yea they kicked ass, i was backing them the whole time.

possibly the best scene of any movie ever is them rollerblading through town getting all there friends to come play street hockey.

It makes sense when you realize that the California team is basically team Canada. Nearly all Canadian players, designed to play Canadian style hockey. I'm glad they won.
 
ottawa did what they do best....choke....and choke hard. They didn't want it at all, and it seems that any canadian team that gets to the finals never wants it enough.

Ottawa lost ( well besides just playing like crap) because :

A. they had never played the ducks during the season....and that team is totally different from last year ( Rob Nidermier, Pronger, etc)

B. the dump and recovery does not work at all with the ducks, once you dump it is recovered before any plays can be set up. Detroit realised this at the end of the seires and started passing alot more and playing the puck in the zone.

C. the ottawa defence was poor to say the least. Duck players would just walk in with little to no poke checking, fore checking. Ray Emery saved the day way way too many times.

D. Ottawa could take advantage of any power plays, including a 5 on 3 opportunity.

E. Ray Emery does not goal tend well under pressure, nor does he have vast play off expearence.

I could go on for a while, ottawa just played really really bad hockey. The ducks won and deserved to win.
 
the sens road their top line all the way through the season. heatley and spezza didnt show up in the finals so they lost. it didnt help that volchenkov and phillips dissapeared after the first game either
