so i just had my vehicle broken into last evening (parked right outside work). some fucker smashed through my front window, opened the back and made off with my mountain bike. id just picked the damn thing up from being tuned, now im out a couple of grand and ive gotta replace my window glass.

rest assured if i find out who it was, im gunna break a tire iron on their skull.

but my larger pont is this. stealing other peoples shit, no matter how petty, is not fucking funny. someone else earned the money, payed for it and probably really liked it. and if they do ever catch you in the act, odds are ul end up breathing through a tube for a while.

ns is a strange place to rant i guess, but i have too rant somewhere. its either that or ill start destroying my drywall. if uv got buds who think its funny and alright to flog stuff, tellem to get fucked.

goddamn, i would seriously put someone in the hospital if that happened to me. i cant imagine how low someone has to be do that
 
my friend used to steal peoples goggles at the mountain, pissed me off so much dude. he had like 13 pairs at home and he was taking a new pair every weekend, that would piss me off so much to get my 100 dollar goggles stolen and then ot be able to really ride all day unless i got other ones.
 
I've had my car broken into twice this fall, and my opinion of humanity as a whole has taken a sharp decline. If I see anyone breaking into ANY car, shit is hitting the fan. If they don't have any decency or courage, what's to keep me from hurling beer bottles at them?
 
Stealing shit is lame as hell. I have an itouch and it doesnt leave my sight, i've caught 3 kids in gr 10 going thru my bag for it i threw one into the shower and turned it on and the other guys ran off. Someone just jacked my ipod nano with i was onna use for skiing. it makes you mad cause you spent money on it and even though it may be depreciated you still use it alot. But a mountain bike is gat to steal, although it was kinda dumb to leave it right there? No offence and i know you wouldnt think someone would take it but... If you catch em beat em to a pulp then charge em with theft.
 
i am in no way supporting stealing, its gay, but people dont steal because they think its funny. they steal to get cool shit that you have that they want.
 
So much shit has been stolen from me, my snowmobile(shitty old one but still), some shitty old tires i had in the back of my truck, my jacket and shoes( at my mtn) and some other stuff i cant remember at the moment.

I got my truck back but if I ever see the mother fucker who has my sled i am going to rob the sled from them at gun point and take it back. I know every single mark that sets it appart from anyother sled and have all the paper work to back it up. Who the fuck would want a 1974 yamaha gp340 anyway?

ive never had anything huge stolen , like your bike, but i have had my phone and a few other things taken. It pisses me off so much that theres kids out there with cash because of my job. I earn the money to pay for everything i have, why should some kid come take it for whatever. The kid who stole my phone went to his dealer and swapped it for $ 40 worth of weed and i worked for the money...

A racers bike got stolen before a local race. turned out it was one of my friends who stole it. I heard him talking about his new bike at school- i was pissed as i am a biker myself. It would suck is somebody stole mine- 4 grand down the fucking drain. I got the bike back and shipped it to the racer.

yeah, I really hate people who steal shit like that. I have a friend who used to steal ipods and phones and shit and it pissed me off so much to hear about it. I don't really care if I look like a pussy telling them not to steal shit because I realized long ago it doesn't matter what some idiot thinks of me. I wanted nothing to do with it and I didn't want to hear about it at all.
 
Oh Man, that guy would be a total write-off if that had been my bike. I would hunt him relentlessly until i found him and then slowly tear him to pieces. people who steal bikes or skis are the lowest, slimiest beings to ever inhabit the earth. I ahve a kind of funny story about that though, one of my friends had his shitty Canadian tire bike stolen and he reported it to the police. He saw the guy riding his bike in town once, called the cops, they found the guy, identified teh frame by the serial number, and whaddya know, the thief had put a decent Marzocchi fork on the bike, which my friend got to keep!
 
id keep your eye on ebay and craigs list over the next few weeks. the guy probably just wanted the money for it anyway and that the best way to get rid of it. just keep looking at those sites and if you see your bike get listed call the cops, or just say your interested in purchasing, meet him in person, and hit him with a baseball bat.
 
it was still better than the toy one that was on before. also The Marz. 66 ones are pretty nice. Manitou is better over all though, and Fox.

Even when people find a wallet with money in it and they take all the money from it, thats pretty stupid as well. I found a wallet couple weeks ago at lake louise with over 100 in it and I took it to the lost and found without taking any money from it. Alot of the friends I was with told me I was crazy, and that just made me sad to know the would have taken the money. I wish people would be nicer someimes. Im really sorry about your bike, I hope you find the little bugger who took it, im sure he will get what he/she deserves.
 
True that. If it shows up on ebay send them a message saying that you'll pay a lot of money in cash for it and you'll meet them because you live only like an hour or two away. Bring a crowbar. Or a baseball bat. And do work.

I know how you feel about people taking others shit. This is nothing compared to what happened to you but last weekend at Copper someone stole my poles. They were about $30 poles that my mom bought me for my birthday. I left them right by my skis and went inside the cafateria. I come out 15 minutes later and they are replaced with shitty $10 poles. Who the hell does this?

Atleast they gave me poles in return but the fact is that my Mom bought those for me for my birthday and she really thought about a nice thing to get me and some fuck tard steals them and gives me shitty poles in place.

I know it wasn't a snowboarder because they had to give me poles and what snowboarder needs poles anyways? It was a skiier. Who the fuck steals another skiiers poles? Thats bullshit. $5 says it was a gaper who thought mine were really nice so traded me with his shitty ones.

If I see someone at skiing around with my poles, I will take the ones they gave me and shove them up their ass and take mine back
 
ya one time i found a guys check for 1kish and i brought it to the company names on it i kinda expected a reward for returning so much cash but the cunt didnt give me anything lol, not that you should only return shit to get a reward, but it was kinda expected lol
 
i mess around with my friends and take thier stuff sometimes, but you always gotta give it back afterwards

that's why I get pissed when people say shit like oooh, I just stole a pair or poles. sometimes things can be more than that to people. I've got plenty of items I'm really sentimental about and even though they might not be worth much or seem like much they still mean a lot to me or they can't be replaced easily.

Thats why I use my shitty school nerdy backpack to the hill. Because I figure no one will figure that there is valuable non gaper gear in it. And I put a note in with my home address explaining who I am and that I really like my stuff and I want it back please.
 
A guy stole $1200 from me then had the nerve to threaten to kick my ass. I called him out on it and I havn't heard from him since until tonight. He just stole another $1700, total of $6000, and left his finger prints and shipping address on the box/things inside (he sent a fucking wrench instead of a camera). I'm taking this asshole down.

so lame, i got 20 bucks taken out of my pants in the locker room at gym, the kid next to me got his ipod jacked. Knowing that someone steals from you just makes you feel shitty for the rest of the day, sorry about your bike man.

I think that people who steal stuff don't know how hard people work to get their stuff. That's why they steal, they do it to make easy money while the person who's hard earned money just flew out the window. I had my car broken into this year and they stole my skis and camera and other various stuff. I wasn't pissed that they broke into my car to steal my stuff it was that they had to take away another persons enjoyment to make themselves happy. I feel that karma will get them back sooner or later whether it be getting caught stealing or getting hit by a bus.
