An Alternative to Summer Ski Camps

Alright, heres the deal, It seems as if a summer ski camp like that of High North, or SMS, is going to run me to much money. $1,110 plus an additional 400-600 dollars for air fare. Which really sucks because I wanna go very badly, and with my expensives for living off campus next year in a house with a bunch of my friends, it looks as if its not going to happen. Is there an alternative, is there any possible way I can go to camp for cheap? should I sell drugs, or sell my body for sex? hahaha jk.... anyways, I know you can be a digger, but is there anyway possible I could get a job at one of these camps, and get paid, and ski for free in the summer or anything. I am also 19 years old, any information people may have would be awesome.. thanks guys

Just go ski Timberline on your own. Sure you wont have the instruction, but it will be a lot cheaper and some skiing is better than no skiing.

yeah Timberline kicks ass. There are tons of hits and you'll be able to see a lot of pros and hopefully be able to throw down some shit yourself.

There's no camps in wyoming, but the guy who runs our park, jp martin(co-founder of COC) might start a freeride camp in cody bowl in the summertime.

ya i looked at camps like empire freeride, camp revolution, dave murray, etc... they weren't to much cheaper really....

from what i've heard, if you don't have connections, you're not gettin a job as a digger! it's really late to apply for that job and even if you get it you will not be paid. they'll give you a pass, lodging and food, then you'll work for free.

talk to doug (MDFRESH) about it. he worked at high north last summer!

yo what other resorts are open all summer w/ PUBLIC access to park/pipes. i know whistler but what else? i went to COC like 5 years ago but don't remember how much was available for the public....i don't think they had a public pipe???

dave murray's and the like (smaller camps) are for the most part just as expensive.

i know dave murrays is right up there ,if not the same price or more as CoC.
