guys, simon's run had a much bigger 'wow factor'.  People outside the sport can't tell the difference between the 7's, 9's and 10's.  They can tell when someone is boosting 1/3 higher than everyone else.  If boosting is so easy, then we'll see you there boosting next year, no?  Please remember the best ski pipe run in history, CR's qualifying run in '03 X-Games.  He schooled the competition with his 18'-22' corked 900.   Not one skier has matched that run since.  Plus, if you just go huge, someone will go huge and do a trick, or a bigger trick.  It's called progression.  The people need to see amplitude, so give it to them and you will do well.
