Amplid syntax 172????

hey i was wondering if 172 would be big on me iam 510 and i weight 130. But iam been skiing for more den 13 years and i dont think dat it would afect my performance in da park or just rippin up da slopes either. so i want to hear ur guys opions

your height says 178 your weight says 172... but since you've been skiing for 13 years i'm guessing you shred so i'd say 178

Just so you know, Syntax will be: $699, AntiD $575ish. With free shipping and bandana. And go by height not weight if you are light, stability is needed more when you have a higher center of gravity.

thanks

how did u find out about the retail on the syntax and antid cause iam been tryin to figure dat out for months now and yeah i got enough money to get the syntax

you better get a lock for those snytax. haha i would so affird of having 700 dollars skis being stolen thats why im considering AD's

saw them in a park in austria a couple of days ago, they looked absolutely sickkkkk.

id get a hold on them if id had the dough

lol yeah but da mountain i go to my dad is a ski instructer so i get to put my stuff in the ski school where all da staff are so yeah no one is goin to steal my skis

and i already have the money saved up to get the syntax :)

Syntaxs seem really really sick. Supposed to be one of the lightest skis out there. I was going to buy a pair, and had the money saved up, then ON3P started accepting pre orders and I realized that ON3Ps cost half as much as syntaxs so I decided to take a risk and order some ON3Ps. If you do wind up getting Syntaxs, can you please write a review of them? It would be really helpful to a lot of people on ns. So yeah...if I don't love my ON3Ps, then I'll probably pick up some syntaxs next season.

^yeah, I wanted Syntax, then Reno Jib, then Pipe Cleaner. As soon as I saw that price I knew I couldn't work that many extra hours even though they look so sick.. then I broke my Chronics and got a store warranty that went to PCs.

And it seems like everybody that I have asked about the AntiD has said they like it, but if they have skied the Syntax there answer is clouded over how much more they like it than the AntiD. I heard Wallisch signed on with Smith, so if that is true he can give an honest quick review w/o feeling obligated to sell his sponsors product.

i think it was scott, btw. the snytax is the AD without that rail guard deal and is lighter. so the snytax is just a lighter and not as durable AD. I think it is like 2 pounds lighter than the AD. but im planning on getting the snytax and i will deff write about them in this cult

oops, you are right my bad haha. And I think it isn't just taking away durability, but more like comparing AR6 and Pipe Cleaners, AntiD is to AR6 what Syntax will be to Pipe Cleaners, maby? Seems like a few guys sponsored by Amplid told me Syntax is there jump and pipe ski, and AntiD is other park stuff.

I have seen the Psychogram for both snytax and AD and the only difference is the urban/rail meter is lower for the snytax. The park/pipe is the same but i have heard the Snytax is better for jumps/pipes but the Psychogram doesn't show that....

178 with 510 height? really? well then how about 5'8'' im this height, would the 178s work for me to? i was thinking the 172s ive been skiing for about 6 years so
