I find it odd that a brand pretty much based at Mt. Hood has pretty much no presence on the mountain.

Have only seen a few pair that maintain edge, most of those were Steves.

Where in North America can you get Amplid skis? I have never seen any in shops or even on the mountain except when on the feet of sponsored skiers. I have seen a couple boards, but I think they belonged to a sponsored rider.
