Amplid Ski Opinions?

For the upcoming season I've been thinking about purchasing a pair of Amplid skis but I haven't seen many people riding them around where I live. So I was wondering what everyone else's opinion on them was?

Sorry if this has already been posted, sort of new to the site.
 
ive got the c7's from 09-10 and they ar still solid

ive smashed them into concrete and they had countless of rails...

maybe im very lucky that they are still fine, maybe its a really quality ski.
 
Sorry for joining the conversation really late.

A good few years ago we had some issues with a dampening tape that is used between the edge and the sidewall which was causing some adhesion issues. That year we had some edge-pull-outs that were warrantied and we switched our tape supplier. In the last two years we also switched to using a very slightly softer steel on the edges of our park skis which means they deform very slighly when impacted onto a rail instead of cracking. Over the last few years we've had very few warranties from pull-outs. Obviously we're bummed for those skiers who had to warranty their sticks. Unfortunately sometimes problems like the tape issue can't be discovered until the skis are on the mountains being shredded hard.
