Amplid or Armada

Im having a hard time deciding between the amplid snytax or AD's and the armada t-halls.Any feedback from these 3 skis would be great. Also is it a good idea to take in mind the scores from the freeskier buyers guide cause in there opinion the snytax was not as good as the AD and the t-hall was more liked than both. Help me out please.
thanks

freeskier buyers guide is a load of crap. just so you know. sometimes its accurate but a lot of the time its way off. that being said, the antidogma is a stiffer ski, probably stiffer than the thall. dont know much about the syntax but i believe its on the stiffer side as well.

do you want a stiff ski or a soft ski, that's the basic difference between the 3, both Amplids are pretty stiff (the syntax is basically the same as the AD as far as shape and flex) where as the T-Halls are pretty soft. But, either way you go, they're gonna be sick, if you decide on Amplids I'd go AD, they are slightly heavier than the syntax but they're more durable and cheaper.

ive actually owned two pairs of amplids, the first pair i had like in total 20 inches of edge loss in about 35 days and then the base started to actually come off as the core cracked, so i decided to email amplid and they were real legit about it and sent me out another pair. This summer using my summer setup i had like 8 inches of edge loss after 7 days of using the skis, i personally love the skis but the edges need some work to say the least.

i know a guy who had that happen to him, it really doesnt take a lot does it, might be more appeal to them if they lasted more than a month or so

Thank you! I agree. They put chopstick as a better ski in pow than toons, S7s, EHP...all those..

well for the comparo, Anti d is to AR6 as Syntax is to Pipe Cleaner. Thall is more along the lines of what A Bangs are supposed to be, but still good on jumps.

Why would you use almost new skis on a summer setup you big silly head

I would go with armada

because my amplid townships lasted 22 days for the one ski and 28 for the other ski. So now im missing a good 3-4 feet of edge on one ski and the base is pealing away and the other ski the edge started going into the core so now the core is splintered near the edge and there is a large bumb on my base now.
