Amped 3 for XBox 360 is SICK.

This game has great graphics, great game play, funny cut scenes and story line, and awesome levels and features.

It has everything from urban rails, incredible terrain parks, back country booters, and powder.

The controls are great, the riders are fully customizable with everything from Anon goggles to Sessions outerwear, and the tricks are badass.

You can also ride snowmobiles. (which you can do tricks on)

The only downside is that there is no freestyle skiing. (Which is expected, since the Amped games have always been just snowboarding).

But, it has every feature you would want in a badass skiing game.

I cant wait for a twin-tip skiing game to come out for XBox 360!!
 
i hated it and a skiing game will never come out for the 360, the games cost way to much to make and with such a small market the chances are 0
 
amped 2 was probably one of the best games ive ever played along with halo 1 and goldeneye for nintendo. after amped 2 the expectations were so high it didnt live upto the hype
 
amped 3 blowss. gameplay is horrible, proportions are stupid, the game blows. the best part is snowmobiling and all the sled choices, the actual snowboarding sucks. and yes, amped 2 was sick > amped 3
 
so sad ive never played amped 3, but EVery1 i talk to about it says 2 is far better than 3, sooo sad.
 
Oh by the way, I totally agree that the snowboarding was totally unrealistic in Amped 3.

But, that also makes it a fun.
 
I don't see why people are hating on Amped 3.

I am gonna rent Amped 2, even though its a regular xbox game, and play it on my 360 to see if it is actually better than Amped 3, as you all have claimed.
 
I LOVE AMPED 3 AND COMEPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU.

But, there is still SSx on tour, which, quite frankly, pwns amped 3.

yeah ok, I guess my xbox are a little special then... and if you have ever played amped 2, youre gonna hate amped 3 cause it fucking blows!!! actually I hated it so much that I gave it away! but I play amped 2 every day and its still great!
 
Does amped 3 have the same spin control as 2? Like where you can spin slower or faster depending on how far you push the stick? That was the greatest thing ever.
 
Nope, that's pretty much why it's so shitty. It's got that "tap it once do a 180" kind of feel, and it is absolutely horrible. Same thing goes for flips, and don't even get me started on the magnetic rails
 


the open style maps and park designs are pretty ill but to land where you're suppost to on jumps/rails you have to take off the lips WITHOUT hitting the jump button, otherwise you land on the end of it or overshoot the whole thing by

so if you actually want to make the game fun try that

 
Yes it does dude... If you hold the stick halfway you do slow spins called "style" tricks in Amped 3, and get massive points for it.

maybe if you didnt suck at the game and did shit other than button mashing you would find that out.
 
forget renting amped 2, i picked it up for 8 bucks used at a local game store. best money i have spent on a game in a long time. amped 3 was cool but i honestly liked the way amped 2 played much better. amped 3 had its plus's but overall 2 gets my vote
 
Go rent amped 2, stick it in your 360, see what happens.

when you've done that, you'll understand how fucking retarded you are

Yes, they are different.

But, I was simply mentioning that if you hold the stick halfway, you spin slower.. precisely answering that one person's question, and letting you know that you can do that.. as you seemed not to believe.

I was just clearing up a point. Why the negativity?

no. and thats why amped 3 sucks. you can tap the stick and the dude will randomly do a rodeo 7 or some shit. in amped 2 you can spin/ flip as fast/ slow as you want. you can also control your axis insteaad of doing gay ass upside down hellicopters they call "corks". amped 3 overall was a massive step down from amped 2. its wayyyy too unrealistic and not fun at all. it reminds me of jonny mosleys mad tricks a lot. every trick looks terrible. and as for the rails, its magnet- rail style which blows.
 
definetly and there is no button for grinding which is agrivating becuase it always sends u into a weird unrealist grind

that is such a legit game. someone needs to replace the snowboard for skis and then i would buy an xbox just for that
