Amped 2, but skiing?

Yo has anyone played Amped 2 on the XBOX? Its the sickest game as long as youre down with boarding. A friend told me that companies can use the same graphics engines but change the art quite easily, e.g. just change the boarder to a skier. I think its about time we get the ski game we deserve (check the number of NS hits over January) and something similar to amped would be sick. Would it be possible to get the NS team to organise on official petition? Or do people just think i'm being lame talking about computer games?

 
dude that would be awesome i own ssx3 and that game would rock if it was skiing same type of game play i also own jonny moseleys mad trix which is fun for an hour till you get everything and it is so cheasy it would rock to have a skiing game with slopestyle superpipe and big air :D

Dude, skiing is way more popular than surfing, at least in terms of participation. And wakeboarding? And freaking rollerblading? I seriously think skiing games would make alot of money if they were halfway decent.

^if they put a skier in amped 3, they would probably put him in a pink skin tight one piece and the only tricks he could do would be spreads and daffies, since the snowboard industry has SO much respect for skiers

you cant just change the graphics, you have to change the whole physics engine due to different qualities of snowboards and skis. also the whole thing that we face down the hill while we ride and snowboarders have to turn to face down the hill... minor details

change the art, modify the physics in the game...get a consultant to the sport (ie t-hall)

remember they tried to make a skiing game, Jonny Moseley Mad-Trix, but it sucked donkey balls. they really do need a skiing game, but if they made one it wouldnt live up to our expectations of what a real skiing game should be. too many small aspects of skiing that would be super hard to incorporate into a game.

theoretically it wouldnt be that hard to change the models and animations. And you wouldnt really need to change the physics, I mean, we both fly through the air the same way.

How bout this- skiing game as good as amped, but made by activision, approved by seth(?). Maybe not that last bit. Amped is the best on snow game that I know, and amped 2 ig good, but the interface on tony hawk or mat hoffman is so much better.

How would people feel about a better version of a fakie flair type game? Something thats 3d and from behind the skier but with custmizable controls, butters, a more amped-based control system and way of flipping and spinning. Rails including s-rails as well as tail slides and noseslides. Halfpipes and customizable skier outfits which would include different camo jackets and pants as well as headbands, hats, different color boots, different skis etc. Would you guys be happy with that?
