i read the book, and it actually freaked me out alot cause i read it when i was like 12 or 13, like.. 5 years ago, but i dont want the movie to ruin the book

Ok Im gonna have to see the history channel thing. But I mean. Ok... the thing is, doesnt it basically rely on the testimony of like 4 people? Thats a weak case for a ghost story. Not only that... But, common.... evil spirits? And I read a thing saying it isnt true... made much sense. I think epople only hear one side of it (Keep in mind people can make apples into oranges with their words) and then they never hear the other sie abotu how its in fact NOT true.

no ones going to believe me, but it is a true story, and my friends mom used to live in amityville and knew the family and the priest in the movie. She said that it was of the kids who went crazy and shot everybody. he first said it was bc of voices, but then he admited to heavy drug use

I think the only scary movies are the ones that are true. or at least suposivly true. Like texas chainsaw masacure. scariest movie hands down

thats pretty crazy.. but the only tru part about the story is the death of the family and the crazy guy who killed them all.. the ghosts wernt true too were they.. thats what would freak me out...
