ummm, i love how twintip is all upset over this and the woman merely stated that she would not like to be vacationing there during this huge diaster. she never said 'i hope all those people that live there die' or 'i am only thinking about myself and am not thinking about how all the people in southeast asia are dying and i'm still alive and i'm hoping that twintip totally blows what i say out of proportion so that he can make a huge deal on newschoolers.com and have everyone hate him.' yes, the way she said it may seem a little blunt and uncaring, but you cannot interperate what she says so negatively man, come on, not enough information.
and to the comment about bush representing the american people and that it wasn't all his fault we went to war. more people were opposed to going to war than people were for, so i'm oging to have to say that bush had a little influence on it, not just the american people.
also, twintip, you are bad at talking. 9/11 was all over the news all over the place, i am sure this huge diaster in southeast asia is too, do you have subscriptions to every newspaper in the world so that you can see every headline to back up this point?????
also, like someone said before, you cannot compare 9/11 to this natural diaster in the way you want to compare it. 9/11 was a terrorist attack, human caused, controllable (in a way). you cannot stop a natural diaster like this from happening, humans did not cause it, you cannot control it. it is crazy and terrible though and an unreal amount of people have died from it. it is very hard to pick up the news paper one day and see that 2000 people have died from the tsunamis, and then it is even harder to read how that number jumped to 50,000. i cannot believe it, it is insane.
