ya i talked to a foreign exchange student and she went to a dance...she said she didn't even have fun...parties over there are HUUGGEEEE though. we never have a party white kind of thing

Live in America, partied here many times and Europe for awhile while I lived there.

And no, most Americans can't drink (AKA party) like you foreigners can. When people here drink as much as you do in other countries we have a word for it. Alcoholism. Yes, I am serious.

I'm just saying our cultures view the subject far differently and I think that plays a big role in everything. Not saying we're right and you're wrong, in fact on the contrary, America IS a bunch of up-tight pussies, but there are those of us who manage to hold our own.

That said, don't ever go to Finland, or go drinking with Fins. THOSE fuckers can drink.

the majority of people who party in.. say new orleans, or vegas, are rarely locals. they know better then to spend butt loads of money on that kinda shit, those kind of parties are all tourist oriented and money grabs. ps. nice sailor suit.
 
you are retarded, are you trying to say no people in big cties party? maybe they dont go to tourist spots and spend money but the real people in big cities part quite hard
 
ya my buddy jus got back from germany and said they can party alot harder since the drinking age is so low ppl can tolerate more alcohol and proceed to be wasted on epic proportions
 
Someone who finally makes sense. Just because people live in famous, 'touristy' cities doesn't mean they don't go out in said cities; it just means that they know the best places to go, and avoid the expensive shitty places.

That being said, I have lived in both America and England and I would say that England is much better in terms of being a better place to party. It definitely has a lot to do with the drinking age being eighteen, as applies to this whole argument really, but also because clubs in England are so much different in a good way. There is loads of good new music thriving, and if you're into it there is pretty much something good happening every night of the week.

However, America isn't that far behind imo. America have slightly better house parties imo, but that is probably because there are a lot more houses to accommodate parties of good size in America. The drinking games are definitely a good thing, and the sheer number of good looking girls (if you know the right girls that is) never hurts.

All in all, it not where you are, but who you know.
 
america can throw down big, especially us college kids.. there's nothing really better to do than drink all day and night with everyone and anyone. I go to JMU and we're always down to throw down big and we def don't pass out at 1.

I've partied all over the world and I have to say UK has us beat, but we've got better parties than a lot of western europe and most of asia.
 
is UK good? no hating just never heard that they where soo good. ever been to sensetion white/black ? been i skandinavia in the summer ? the winter here sucks though
 
UK is totally mad, been to lots of clubs out there and some 3 day camp out raves. Never seen people taking so many drugs. Never taken so many drugs myself. One guy I was with took 10 double tabs of acid in 2 days, and was trying to buy more on the 3rd day. Peope were taking like 7-10 hits of E in a night, whereas at home I'll see people take 2 or 3.

Never been up to Nordic Europe, would love to though. No family or friends up there to stay with up there though so it would be so expensive.
 
Ive travelled quite a lot and partied hard in a fair few different countries so the world arcoding to me goes as...

Scottish/Irish/English - heavy heavy drinkers. Bit too much fightin. We'll chin anything and fucking quickly though! Depending on the crowd can lead to some crackin nights of singin

Dutch - Drink a shit load, take a serious amount of hard drugs. Fuckin ACE music

German - Drink heavy and drink damn good beer

Canadians - Dont drink a whole lot, smoke like nothing else, have kinda chilled out parties.

Ozzies/Kiwis - Will put on one a hell of a party! Friendly and keen to try new shit.

French - Good Djs, shit parties. Gay... Enough said

Italians - Really unfriendly, dont wanna mingle. Drink fuckin stupid stuff!

Americans - Dead friendly, not amazing parties. Definitely cant handle much... and you drink "light beer" for fuck sake! What is that shit?! You need to chin a crate on your own to feel anything!

But without doubt the worst are the brazillians/argies/peruvians/chilians - Fuckin ABYSMAL drinkers (I had a 15 yr old mate drink college kids to death) not very sociable and just the worst parties you'll ever go to. Seriously reminded me of being like 14 again.
 
I also think i has something to do with the strictness and rules in america compared to europe and other parts of the world. I myself is from denmark where the legal age for buying alcohol is 16 and for going to bars 18. and here there is not such thing as being too drunk, witch is not necessarily a good thing. but if you go out and are too drunk you'r not going to be kicked out of the bar or going to be taken to a drunk cell by the police, witch makes it easier to party way harder here..
