AMERICANS ARE GONNA BE FAT!!!

That is the dumbest shit i have ever read. I hate all these studies that predict things that aren't going to happen. Of course there are gonna be fat people but 9 out of 10 is ridiculous. Scientists really need to do studies on more important things.
 
oh and i eat so horribly it's not even funny. i'm not fat. sure i'll have a heart attack by 30, but at least i'll look good at my funeral.
 
all it says is if obesity is increasing at the rate it is, 9 out of 10 americans will be fat. its not gonna keep increasing at the rate it is. there will always be people who stay in shape. a lot of people on newschoolers (including me) eat fast food, but as long as we still ski and do other activities (whatever)

we wont be fat. and i dont think all the healthy people r just gonna give up
 
if all you do is ski i think you'd be pretty much screwed on teh fat scale...

i ski alot, and i mean alot and i dont really consider it a workout sport. unless of course your touring then i'd say your good. but park, groomers and even powder i'd say arent hugeeee workouts.
 
yes, true but if ur like me, then u probably cross train to prevent injury (play other sports).  most park skiers do other sports. think about it . when is the last time youve seen someone whos actually needed (sizewise) a lethal descent jacket?
 
when i went to cali, i went to the beaches to cruise for babes. all i saw was fat people and a few shark fins. what a let-down. and when i hit up universal studios and legoland, there were fat people getting turned away from rides everywhere you looked. oh and there were a hell of a lot of hummers, probably because it was the only vehicle big enough to accomadate the average californian. i bet there's more skinny people playing WoW than there are skinny people in california.
 
I hope the hypothesis is true and 9 out of 10 Americans become obese. When this happens, those of us who are not fat will be physically dominant and will be UNSTOPPABLE.
 
word. i hope it happens in canada too. us fit people will probably all become olympians or something. haha that would be so dank.
 
ok thats dumb. sure theres alot of fat people but theres not more in california than any other state. and its hard to believe that there wasnt any hot girls at a beach. i live in modesto(the supposdly worst city in america) and theres a ton of hot girls.
 
i never said there were more than in any other state. cali is the only state i've ever been to. and i'll admit there were a few hot girls at the beaches, but they were hard to spot amidst all of the beached whales.
 
ok its california not cali.

and its not that hard to point out a hot chick unless the beach is like packed which it would be in LA and carlsbad. but if you go to less busy beaches theres usually about the same number of uglles and hotties

the beaches on vancouver island are full of babes, i think i'll stick to them haha.
 
The number of fat people is increasing, and will grow greatly. Look at childhood obesity. There were no fat kids when I was young. I can look through a childhood yearbook fromelementary school, and all the kids are pretty much skinny. Now look around at kids. There are a ton of tubbies!

However, there is a factor that inflates that percentage greatly. Almost ALL determinations of BMI go off nothing more than a formula using nothing more than height and weight.
 
i agree, theres no way 90% of us will be fat, i can see some more people getting fat, but that number is totally wrong. There are tons of healthy people in america
 
yeah I hear that. its impossible for me to get fat though so it doesn't matter really. I eat tons of fried foods, high carbs, drink tons of heavy beer. but I also eat lots of fruits and vegetables, take vitamins, and exercise a fair amount.

my blood pressure is the minimum healthy range. I think I'll be ok.

i saw the other day on the news that chinese people are becoming obese and the chinese government is stepping in an fining corporations for employees that are over a certain waist size and weight level. the government is also giving money to support weight loss programs (i think). now thats crazy but china is crazy and they can do what they want, mabey, just for one time we should listen to what the chinese are doing for this problem. lol.
 
haha no, I used to be fat, therefore I know how fat people like to sit on skinny people. Because I have fatxperience, I can use that to my advantage.
 
I hate these dumb fuckin studies. Who would be stupid enough to believe shit like this. Sounds like it should be on fox fucking news.
