so i bought 06 fujis and didnt really get a good look at the graphics. well, now ive got a good look at them and noticed something. on the base on the tail, theres a sticker "made in china"

then on the top sheet, it has a pic of the US.

why do companies do shit like that?

If I'm not mistaken, all K2's are made in China. So is just about everything else on the shelf here in America. Just try to buy a pair of shoes that are made in USA.

Companies make shit in China because if they didn't, your cheap ass couldn't afford whatever it is they're making.

If you wanted skis that were made in North America, or the EU, you shouldn't have bought K2s.

Seriously, why do you think K2 can afford to sell the Fujative to dealers at a price that makes $299 US a realistic MSRP? ya...made in China for a reason retard. Manufacturing costs.

maybe companies do that because it's a us based company that has a factory in china? it's a really complicated thing to figure out you see...

im not complaining about the fucking price dumbass. im complaining about "false advertising"

K2 skis have pretty much no relation to the US in terms of manufacturing, so why would they pretend they do. i just thinks its ghetto and makes our country seem like we dont want to have any relation with whoever is making our skis. dont pretend to be all american and shit, when you make crap in china.

and the ads in SKEEZE, some of them are all american, red with blue shit...

^dito...and its not like it was a big secret that theyre skis are made in china..I think just about everyone on here knew that...

actually the flag represents country of origin and the made in china represents country of manufacture. only the dumb consumers don't realize that.

And I think you're a fucktard for buying Fujatives and then complaining about bullshit involving Chinese manufacturing.

Designed in USA, marketed in the USA but made in China because from K2's or any other companies stand point, if you can sell enough units to make up the costs of outsorceing the manufacturing (finding a manufacture, shipper, paying duties, ect) then it is worth it to them to turn a greater profit. It does not mean that the skis are worse than they would be if make in the USA, because they are still made to the specs that the US engineerssaeag (yeah i cant spell) make, just cheeper to make ($1.00 on the hour vs $8.00 on the hour) Its what makes the US so great, we can profit from other peoples hardships.
