Just watched this, incredible movie. Extremely provocative subject...really shows the necessity of living equally and irregardless of race. Anyone else see this movie?

the first time i ever saw american history x, my stepdad was watching it with my stepbrother in my room. i walk in at the part while they are in jail in the barthroom, and i thought the one guy was just jumping up and down behind him. i was like, "what are they doing?" and my stepdad says "he's fuckin him in the ass douchebag!" haha i thought it was funny.

crash and american history X are pretty good movies i def reccomend watching them if you have half a heart

that movie makes you feel a little racist during the begining and middle, i mean they have examples to back up some of their stereotypical thoughts, but then at the end you feel like the biggest douche ever for agreeing with the characters early in the movie

I uno Crash was good but I didnt find it great. It was nothing like American History X, nothing compares to the brillance of American History X. Crash didnt quite cut it. It was trying to portray a powerful message but it didnt really speak for me. I uno this is my opinion about it.

ok the curbing was not the worste part of that movie, the worste part was when he was getting raped in the shower and you see the blood running down his leg

If the only reason that some of you guys like American History X is for the curbing, you need to grow the fuck up. That is hands down one of the best movies ever.

the movie is rather graphic, yes, but, it accuratly portrays the horrifying acts that racists commit

i hope his[mike jones] tour bus breaks down in the warped tour parking lot and 1000 emo kids stab him and cry about it.

I just had to deconstruct it for one of my film classes. I've seen that movie several times and the message was loud and clear but after going through it in film class I really picked up on a lot more aspects that they used to get the message across. It was very cool.

For those who were comparing AmX and Crash, that's not really doing justice to either movie. Crash doesn't deal with racial hate as much as it deals with how our prejudices and stereotypes of one another affect our every day life. Yes it does show how they can lead to extreme circumstances but its not the same method for getting the message across.
 
you dont really see the dude being curbstomped though, he just puts his teeth on the curb lol
 
american history x and boondock saints are two of the very best movies of all time and everyone should watch them at least once in thier lifetime!!!!

Intense and controversial movie. Great movie. The curb stomp was crazy, as was the whole story line.

Must watch (not kiddy friendly, though).
