That used to be my favorite show when I was little. My favorite character was Gemeni, the big black dude. He was so bad-ass.

i don't mean to be that "oh im so core because i liked the original better" guy, but I really didn't like the new episode that much. the events were pretty cool, but it definately seemed like too much was choreographed and at points it looked like the gladiators or the contestants weren't really trying.

i'll still tune in next week though
