As of 10:30 this morning I became an official member of the United States Air Force. So stoked about this. I'm going to be in A/C maintenance, working on all different planes fixing them up, and getting them to work. I have been trying ot get in since February, but since I tore my ACL I had to go threw a bunch of gov't bullshit. But now the wait is finally over, and I'm in! But just for you NS the second I get my hands on a plane I'm slapping a huge NS sticker on it.
 
Great job. It's good to see kids who want to go into the military to do something other than "protect their country" or kill muslims.
 
Congrats. Even though I am a pacafist (as I'm sure you know from other posts) I still have uber amounts of respect for people who serve their country. Thank you
 
That'll be a super cool experience man, good luck. I'm applying for the academy myself, which will be a longshot but who knows. If I don't get in I'll probably look armament loading or avionics at the fighter wing by my house.
 
i want to go to germany out of all the places in the world. because 1. germany rocks, and 2. all the bases are located in southern germany so its super close to the Alps!

AF is the way to go.

i dont forsee myself joining the armed forces during my life, but if i were to it would be the AF hands down!

hopefully you get stationed somewhere really cool!

my uncle was in the AF for 20+ years and they have lived in some really really cool places.

Actually that's what the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy actually do, he's just making sure the planes are ready to drop the bombs.
 
Yes, but he's not going in specifically to kill arabs or protect his country. He's going in because he wants to work on planes. Good for him.
