Im calling, within the next 3 years some serious shit is going to happen whether it be economic failure or government overhaul, something big is on the way. I hope it doesn't end terribly.

As much as our economy is heading towards the shitter I think people make it out to be way worse than things are. Nothing too crazy is going to happen in the next 3 years, except Obama will leave office and we'll hopefully get someone into the presidency who actually knows what he/she is doing (be it a democrat, republican, or third party candidate).
Nevertheless, we absolutely need to reduce spending.
I can definitely see a third party coming to rise in the near future though, with a more libertarian approach. It won't be within the next 3 years, but there are a decent amount of people in the U.S. right now that want a party that is serious about reducing the size of the federal government and cutting spending (unlike the lying republicans), and that are lax on social issues (gay marriage, abortion, etc).
 
Kemba is more inconsistent, I'll agree with that, but when he's on he's fuckin on. I think Kemba will be more successful in the NBA (similar to a Rondo, unless he improves his shot). Not that Jimmer won't be successful, but I can see him ending up like J.J. Redick.
 
You are not in the position to know such information so don't go on saying how you do. You are not in the "Need to Know" so you don't.

You simply can't spend what the rest of the world combined spends on military, support 2 wars, and have 700 military bases in 140 countries. Its so unrealistic. lmao like why do you need a cities worth of troops in Germany? THE COLD WAR IS OVER. You guys will figure it out soon though.

Good point. We'll see what happens in the tournament. I'll be stoked if there ends up being a UConn BYU match-up. And next year at this time we should have a better idea of their NBA futures.
 
Me and my Canadian friends were pretty convinced some crazy revolution shit would go on because their was a black president. Or some attempted assasinations or something. Nothing really so far. The tea party is weak yo.
 
as for obama no cutting the spending he kinda has his hands tied. He cuts military and the Tea Partyists burm him in effagy (i know its mispelled) He cuts social security and the republcans have his ass on a platter. He Cuts any of our programs and 50 thousands people will hate his guts. Its the same with any president. We are used to over spending so when we try to stop we get withdrawls. Maybe if we had Nicotine gum but with spending. Also i predict mass riots in Decemebr of 2012

The only way you cut spending and have nobody sacrafice anything is defence spending. Bring 70 000 troops home from Germany, thousands from Japan, stop funding NATO nation's armies, and end the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The money saved would be astronomical.
 
That's why we need a president who will just sack up and cut shit and not care about who gets upset over it. Seriously, we need to take a look at what is not absolutely critical and throw it out, there's no other way to eliminate our trillions of dollars of debt. And a big start to that would be military.

I tend to agree. However I find that conservatives use welfare as a cop out to make up for their fiscal irresponsibility in other places such as defence spending. I mean as far as actual % of the budget goes, the single mom on welfare or the guy exploiting unemployment isn't the biggest deal. Their still poor, not like they live like kings. Their's much bigger fish to fry, mostly over seas.
 
The welfare system certainly needs to be retooled so that it can't be taken advantage of so easily, but I wouldn't necessarily say "lazy scum fucks." There's plenty of people who work their asses off at 2 jobs and still can't make ends-meet. Minimum wage just isn't enough money to support one's self on.
 
politics is the system by which people be bitches and not make the other too mad or something might happen lol. I would be the first to get behind a candidate willing to do that and face the fear of losing re-election instead "playing not to lose" as the saying goes
