i thought he was gonna cap the wife-stealing bastard's ass last week when he had his sight on rick in the woods last week.... but nope. it was just dale. being a boss as always
 
that shows the shit, everytime after i watch it i just wanna go kick some zombie ass. it looks so damn real. i love it, one of my favorite shows right meow.

pretty sure they change it to 'Edwin Jenner' in the show.
Overall, I felt pretty let down by the finale, definitely didn't feel like the last episode of a season.

 
the problem with the first season of any good show (especially on AMC) is that it's usually really short cause they want to make sure theyve got an audience before investing in a full run. in this case the season was only 6 episodes, so JUST WHEN YOURE STARTING TO GET INTO IT it goes away for like 6 months.

thankfully, AMC has announced that the second season will be more than twice as long. unfortunately it probably wont premiere until at least August.
 
they've stated it won't be back until next october, i know for sure that it'll be worth the wait, but it's still a damn long time
 
Agreed also. The last episode was pretty legit. What did people think of the season over all? Also, do you think they will ever find myrtle(don't knonw if that's spellled right. The guy who cut his hand off)
 
A couple of things I'm sure everyone is wondering....
Where the fuck are they gonna go now?
What the fuck did the jack-ass doctor whisper in his ear?
Are they ever going to reunite with Morgan the black dude and his kid?
What is going to happen between the cops friend and the main dude's wife?
How is that traumatized blonde lady going to do after her whole emotional ordeal?
Are we ever going to see a zombie Merle? Or a zombie Jim?
Are we going to re-visit the thugs with the nursing home?

Ahhhh too many questions! Next season is going to be off the chain!
 
I thought it was Merril or Merle? Maybe.. But all the writers were fired, so now it's up to Darabont or freelance writers to fill in the wholes, and (!!!HOPEFULLY!!!) drive the next plot move of the first season to "the farm" and "the ******" and it could be epic, even if it wouldn't follow the comic anymore... Even just the highlights... please!
 
Haha I was wondering pretty much all of these things. At first I figured the doc whispered a secret way to get out, but then when they had to use the grenade I was like WTF DID HE TELL HIM!?!? I'm also very interested to see how the whole Rick/Shane thing plays out. I have a feeling Shane is going to get killed. I wish we didn't have to wait another year almost to see the next season.
 
Hopefully you will also be delighted, but at the same time a bit disappointed with the serie's direction.
 
based on what other people have said, theyre deviating enough from the source material that reading the comic shouldnt really damage your enjoyment...

might as well read it, it's gonna be more than 6 months til the next episode...

i just read up to issue ten in the comic

have i surpassed the tv show? the two storylines are so different i havent got a clue where the two plot lines are in comparison to each other. do they ever go to the cdc in the comic?
 
oh... shit! hes crazy enough...

so far i like the show. talk about a fucking cliff hanger last night though... damn! i watch this show with my dad. he always bugs me about it sunday nights. im really interested to see what happens in the next season because right now theyre basically fucked where they are
 
just blew my mind, man. the "We're already infected", goddam. that would be so fucking sick, or they might just forget about it like that black guy and his son and the racist guy. but the show is so ill.
 
kinda seems like the season pulled a 180 at the end. they are still on the run, have no secure place and didnt get much accomplished

The dude from the CDC totally whispered to rick that after the blood tests he found out that dudes wife is pregnant..... Now you get to wonder if its Ricks or Shanes kid.

also everyones forgetting about how Rick saw a helicopter in ATL

And its great that this is a short series, now the next season (13 episodes based on other AMC shows) will have a shit ton of funding and hopefully will be sick

when the doc says something like "time is something that you don't realize is going and than its up" made me think they threw that in because the series was so short/season finale
 
Would you be ecstatic if you found our your wife was pregnant during the zombie apocalypse where you're constantly on the run? Or that you brought a child into the world just so he/she could be potentially eaten alive moments later? What about if you already suspected that your wife had been with another man?

Dooooon't think so man. And I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure you don't run blood tests for just one thing ever. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's kinda a general process used to check for any abnormalities.

I'm almost one hundred percent sure it was about her being pregnant. One, because it happened in the comics. Two, because of what it does for the plot. No-brainer IMO.
