This what i was talking about, it's called Synesthesia:

When Ingrid Carey says she feels colors, she does not mean she sees red, or feels blue, or is green with envy. She really does feel them.

She can also taste them, and hear them, and smell them.

The 20-year-old junior at the University of Maine has synesthesia, a rare neurological condition in which two or more of the senses entwine. Numbers and letters, sensations and emotions, days and months are all associated with colors for Carey.

The letter "N" is sienna brown; "J" is light green; the number "8" is orange; and July is bluish-green.

The pain from a shin split throbs in hues of orange and yellow, purple and red, Carey told LiveScience.

Colors in Carey's world have properties that most of us would never dream of: red is solid, powerful and consistent, while yellow is pliable, brilliant and intense. Chocolate is rich purple and makes Carey’s breath smell dark blue. Confusion is orange.

Man, this is fucked up, I should go to bed.

"Other examples of synesthetic experiences people can have, just to name a few, are being able to see sounds — as well as hear them; seeing or "knowing" the colors, sexes, and personalities of letters, numbers, and other symbols; feeling weight and shape on their bodies by just tasting something; and smelling colors."

So the squirl cuts the acorn down, who without knowing what would happen promptly dies. then the squirl, realizing he has commited a murder burries the acorn to hide the evidence. No one is the wiser untill the next spring, when a new, unregistered Oak tree begins to grow for no reaons at all... but by then winter has taken away all the evidence, the squirl has died of starvation and an older oak tree has been chargerd with "unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor".

"Statements like, Space never ends

Time never began, and it will never end

Where did matter come from, if time never began, then matter has always been here

If space does end, what is beyond that.
"

This isn't necessarily true. It's possible that we live in a universe with a closed geometry, in which case space never ends but neither does it go on forever- it's the same principle you'd experience if you traveled around the world. You never hit an edge, but you came back to where you were and obviously the area of the world is finite. Or, the universe could have an open geometry, or we could be totally wrong about everything. Who knows?

Also according to theory, time did begin (at the "big bang," and there is lots of evidence that supports this as opposed to the steady-state theory) but won't necessarily end (big crunch vs heat-death).

As for matter- it's not necessarily there or not there. An interesting example of this is the radiation from black holes (Hawking radiation) that results from the spontaneous creation of a particle/antiparticle pair in which one member is absorbed into the black hole while the other escapes, essentially becoming "real." This is predicted by the theories of thermodynamics (basically information is lost into the black hole, and according to theory, information must be conserved)- I think there's an article in a recent Scientific American on it if you want to know more...

Another awesome thing to think about (i just remembered) is the anthropic principle:

Creationists, Intelligent Design-ists (?), etc. all point to the fact that the odds of our universe (including our own existence) naturally occuring are so miniscule that some external God must exist. However- imagine a universe incapable of supporting or giving rise to life, or simply a universe in which life didn't occur. Nobody would be around to record this absurd statistic of failed universes vs life-supporting universes. The only universe in which the question "why are we here?" can be asked is a universe in which we are already here; therefore, the "chance" argument is a bogus crock of shit put forth by people who don't think things through. It's not like we can sit somewhere and tally up the universes where we didn't make it to try and infer the circumstances of our creation (like we might, for instance, with the lottery).

this is important, despite wether or not the universe is infinite, the fact remains that it could expand infinatley. And even if we are crushed back up again into a singulatity and expanded back again into another bing bang. That could happen over and over again for all time, it will never ever ever ever EVER EVER END!

No, the known universe has a horizon at 14 billion light years. We do not know what is beyond this point because the universe is 14 billion years old and there hasn't been enought time for the light from objects on the other side of this horizon to get to us. Oh, and we are expanding from a central point, becuase background radiation from on side (kind of looks like a dot patern of high/low radiation) matches up perfectly to the background radiation of the exact opposite side 14 billion light years away. Crazy stuff. Take an astronomy class, that stuff is awesome.

just go read one of stephen hawkings books... that sounds so nerdy, but the whole time your reading it its got questions like that that just make u think

No, the known universe has a horizon at 14 billion light years. This is because the universe is 14 billion years old and the light from objects that might be on the other side of this horizon hasn't reached us yet. We do know the universe is expanding becuase of the direct relationship between the red shifting of light and the distance for a given object- the furthing things are from us, the faster they are moving away from us. We also know that the universe is expanding from a central point becuase the background radiation (looks like a dot pattern in the infer-red spectrum) matches up perfectly between coordinance opposite each other, meaning that at one point they were touching. All of this, however, does not explain what the universe is expanding into, or more importantly, why the expansion itself is increasing in speed. These are crazy things to contemplate. Take an astronomy course if you are interested.

Psht, that's easy man. It's almost like the same question as what does a blind person dream about. Just use common sense and you pretty much have the answer.

I think the problem here is that most people are simply incapable to grasp the concept of nothingness and the fact that we are insignifigant to the universe....

Like a ghost ship, Pioneer 10 will continue to coast silently through space, heading for the red star Aldebaran.

It will take Pioneer 10 more than 2 million years to reach it. Its sister ship, Pioneer 11, ended its mission in September 1995, when the last transmission from the spacecraft was received.

Both Pioneer spacecraft and Voyagers 1 and 2 could outlast the Earth.

Long after our Sun has swollen into a red giant and destroyed our planet, these four spacecraft will still be drifting silently amongst the stars, almost forever. "

thats not possible nothing is always something when you picture it. its usually a black or a white background. thats something isnt it

darkness would probably be the closest thing to "nothing" we can picture. its the absence of light. however nothing is the lack or absence of anything, not just light. when the lights are out at home, you may not see anything, but u know that the furnature (etc.) is there. i dont believe we can actually comprehend true nothingness.

yeah im bored, i wish it was winter again

jst because you have not seen nothing does not mean it cannot excist or that the universe cannot end/ all these things we assume just because we have not seen them with our own eyes but you really never know. Anything is possible/ we have only studied things as far as our solar system there could be anything we dont think is possible beyond that/ like the fact that we thought the world was round or that we couldnt go to space/ because think its rediculous until we see it with our own eyes

anything could be out there

realistic or not

huh?

The strong and weak? I honestly don't remember the difference anymore, but I outlined the basic foundation they all share. They are all pretty much the same thing until you start getting into more detail.

wanna blow your mind??? watch "what the bleep do we know" and then "I heart Huckabees"...

granted they're a little cookey, but keep an open mind about them..

We create our reality and that the only reason there is an existence is because we create it with the power of thought.

An atom is made up of mostly empty space, with electrons flying around it, that seem to fall in and out of existence. The nucleus which was once thought of as the only solid particle that remained in existence, it is now shown to do the same thing as the electrons. Therefore at any given moment it is possible that no part of an atom really exists...

If quantum mechanics hasn't profoundly shocked you, you haven't understood it yet.
