i believe the picture is from last fall (i think) birds eye is ridiculous. too bad most ski resorts are this like grayish color and you cant do birds eye, you can still kinds see the trails tho. u can do birds eye at my local mtn in CT. must be the higher elevations that dont show up or something

I'm pretty sure the birds eye view is taken from an airplane. I don't think you can get those kind of angles from satellites. Its really awesome except for the fact that it doesn't work with safari.
