ok this is also kind of cruel, but it seems like a good idea.

Everyone goes and buys one of those Beta Fighting Fish (they come in many colors and are like $4.00) So then everyone puts in like $5 into a pool then you drop the fish into a large tank and whatever fish is surviving in the end, the owner of that fish wins the money. Its like cock fighting but with fish.

At my school, after school one of the teachers holds praying mantis fights. His praying mantis against another teachers mantis. He basically starves the mantis so its bloodthirsty when the other one enters the arena.

I got my fish in a compition kinda like that... except there was no fish fighting. I went to the bar one night and they were having gold fish races. 100cm sprints. there was a silent auction for the fishes... once the bidding on fishes was closed they brought out 2 peices of pvc pipe, cut almost in half and full of water. They had gates on them. You put your fish in, when the judge called start you lifted the gate and coaxed your fish to the other side. Everyone got to keep the fish, but i alone won half of the money from the auction. Muahahahahahahahaha. There was a whole round robin turnament set up too. everyone got at least 2 races and stuff. it was sweet.

to make it more interesting we should have diferent arenas like:

rectangular tank with pebbles and other props

round bowl with only water (nowhere to hide)

bath tub(huge)

jacoozi (also huge and jets add another danger)

land (this would be extreme fighting)

and of course we could expirement with different liquids (oil for slow fights, and other stuff)

haha I just created FFL (Fish Fighting League)
