Am I too old to ski park in the summer?

im 23 and this will be my first summer in govy. lookin forward to it, hopefully people are nice and friendly. and hopefully there are more girls than summit county..... but prob not!

am I too old to be trying to progress in park? Going on 27....5+ years now without health insurance........think my question is heavier......haha

dude, 24 is nothing, i dont wanna sound like a dick, but dont be such a pussy! you easily have another 10+ years of good park skiing left in you. there are a ton of people in their late 20's/early 30's skiing and snowboarding park harder than the 20 year olds. im 22 and i plan on going to hood for the next 10 years.im skiing harder and better than ever, i feel better physically and mentally, than i ever have, so i dont see any reason to stop skiing park any time soon. shit i just started mountain biking and bmxing(more for mtb practice when im not near a mountain) and im going into it with the plan of learning spins and flips.i started dirtbiking last summer, and hopefully ill start racing this summer. the 20's are the best years of your life, dont let them go to waste by using an excuse meant for 50 year olds...
but to answer your question better, id reccomend just skiing the public park and sneaking into the camps parks for a couple runs a day. its cheaper and more fun to just do it on your own. ive dont both camps and public parks.

what I was getting at was, when you dont have parents who will foot the bill and/or health insurance to help out with things.........it takes some SERIOUS decision making. Because the consequences of an "oops" are CONSEQUENCES.

This thread got me pumped! I'm 20 and just entered the park scene here in Tahoe and was having trouble progressing on rails and boxes and got worried that I should just stop trying since all the younger teenagers are way past me. Sweet vibes though, definitely gonna try more stuff next season!
