Am I the only person in the world that doesn't like the Beetles?

I don't even tell people because when I do I just get criticized and told that there's something wrong with me and/or I'm stupid. If the Beetles were the exact same band but they existed in our time instead of in the 60's or whenever would they be just as popular or would they be just another band?
 
they get better by age..... i didnt like them when i was young.... but its kinda more about what happend behind the music.....
 
ur not alone man. I cant stand listeing to their music. You have to give them respect for changing the face of music but thats all i do, i hate listening to them.

i may not love the BEATLES, but i respect them insanely, they started "rock" music, so show some respect at least spell their name right
 
You cant pose the question of if they were to exist in "our" time because, the other bands of today wouldn't be here without The Beatles. Their impact on culture itself was so great, that even the homepage of NS pays homage to the Beatles. "The Long and Winding Road" is a featured news article right now, it was also off the Let It Be album, the last album released (not recorded) by the Beatles. I've found that if you dont like one Beatles song, doesn't mean you dont like them. They recorded so much material and so much of it is different, that almost everyone can find some stuff they like.
 
at one time I owned every single US released (and majority of UK) Beatles album.

I listened to them so much that now I absolutely hate them, except for the song "across the universe".

I still like them, but ever since i listened to them nonstop, across the universe stuck with me too!
 
you're not the only one, but i would honestly say, world-population-wise, you are in the minority. its hard to say if the beatles would be as popular today- i don't think they could really exist today. they were such a product, in a way, of the time period. but, if, hypothetically, they were producing the same music today, i dont think it would be such a big deal. (this coming from a huge beatles fan)
 
im agreeing with you man, if i had the option to listen to the beatles, or anything else, i would probably pick anything else. i still respect them tho.
 
i like the beatles. i don't love them, but they're good. even if you don't like their music, it doesn't change the fact that they're awesome. so you're still cool even if you don't like them.

 
I'll bet quite a few poeple that say they don't like them haven't actually heard them. Do yourselves a favor and listen to the white album.
 
I used to love them when I was in elementary school. I knew all the words to all there songs and thought they were the best. But, my taste in music changed so now I don't really like them any more. I respect them a lot for changing the face of music though.
