Am I the only one who doesnt like Eminem?

I don't like the mainstream/pop direction he's going/went.

I like a few of his songs for sure, and i respect him as a very talented lyricist, but something about his attitude just doesn't agree with me. he's just too angsty/angry all the time.

i disagree. in most of his songs a few years ago, it was all about how shitty his life was. its like every song was a different period in your life.
 
Oh God, if I hear I'm Awesome or even his stupid summer camp commercial on WCYY one more time I'm going to flip out. That song is not good or funny. I hope he stops soon.

 
His music just makes me depressed, like said above, it's about how shitty his life is.

And his voice is just not right. It's not bad but it's hard to describe, like snoop's voice...just odd.

His rapping style is terrible and his overused "controversial" lyrics are tiresome and cliche and absurdly repetitive.
 
Yeah I agree. I'm not an easily offended type of guy, but some of his shit is just horrible. Talking about throwing the bitch in the trunk and stuff like that. Its just not good music
 
I liked him until relapse, that was a terrible album but I love recovery. Pretty stoked he's back on his feet agian. Regardless of whether you think he's gone mainstream doesn't overshadow the fact that there are very few rappers who can flow like he can without making up new words.

I was told the other day by a bunch of my neighbors 13 year old friends that they knew so much about rap and I was somewhat raptarded because I didnt think that eminem was the best rapper ever and lil wayne was the second best. I brought up f. stokes and biggie and they literally went to go look up songs on youtube then came back and told me how terrible both of them were.

I know its a preference but really? Some girl told me that lil wayne's voice couldnt be autotuned because she saw him live and he wasnt lip singing. How retarded are some people? Thats like saying that even though you have an effects pedal for a guitar RIGHT in front of you, you cant use it because you're playing live.

/rant. sorry. this has just been a sore subject lately for me
 
..this. i have all his old stuff on my ipod, everything he sang about was crazy. His old stuff did not compare to anyone else in that period.

He talks too much shit with lyrics that aren't even creative, every single song on his new album is about the same thing. I will give him credit though, some of the "disses" on the first track of the album are pretty brutal.
 
He is the SHITTIEST rapper ever... He steals lines all the time from Wu-Tang and Tupac. He should go to Compton sometime and get shot up. Word.

I was stunned. Are people that dumb these days? and for the people that claim they love eminem, do they even stray away from his singles? Mainstream is such a joke.

I have. eminems rapping is some of the best there is, but the general vibe of his songs are the reason he isnt on the same level as wu. I still love him, he just doesnt convey the same emotion through his words, except a few songs. Cinderella man and going through changes being two of them
