Am I the only one that doesn't like Eric Pollard?

If you don't have anything to add, don't post loser. You can sit there wondering but adding a question mark does nothing at all.
 
i do not see how you dont like him unless you personally know him and hes a dick or something... his skiing is so sick
 
Thank you, that's much better. And I totally agree with you as well, his style is a nice change to skiing. I'm personally sick of spin to win, it's still skiing and still crazy to watch, but just not my thing.

i dont see how his switch pow skiing is so impressive. the reason i dont like his skiing is cuz its to chilled and layd back and i like intense stuff that gets the blood flowin.
 
i think you are the only skiier!!! how can you hate on someone who is clearly lightyears ahead of your self in skiing. prepare for allot of people to hate you!
 
im not saying anythign about me. i can proudly say i dont compare to pollards skiing its just what i like to watch on ski movies and stuff. just kinda more boring than others.
 
i like him because he knows how to ski without throwing wild dub flips and switch 1800's like an aerialist. he's sick. i don't see what there is not to like. maybe it's his incredible painting skills.
 
I love his relaxed style, he doesn't need to be throwing down any incredible never before seen tricks to have a style all to himself.

The only thing I don't like is how it seems for this year's skis he seems to have just thrown pieces of random art at each ski, namely the Lizzie's and the Bacons - WE GET THE POINT THE THEME OF THE SKI IS RANDOMNESS.
 
He's been amazing for so long, maybe people are catching up with switch in the BC but he was one of the first.
 
I think the reason you dont find it impressive is you havent tried it.

I spent all yesterday trying switch in pow and lofty 180's into pow, it takes true talent (i coudnt get it very well). And true orginallity he was the first to try it.
 
Eric Pollard is god.. and one of the most stylish people to evver step on skis.. end of story..
 
I just watched WSKI again, and to me it just seems he doesn't care what others think, his style is SICK! Yeah you wont see a swith 9000 from him but he isnt a gymnastic competitor, he flows thats it
 
I dont think skiing is about how many turns you can make in the air before getting drunk, i find a skier who spins smooth 180 end 3's of nothing is much cooler then yokels who spin 7 and 9 from huge kickers and don't even know how to ski properly ( i hate when someone plows to slow down on approach, so Un-stylish) + theres a difference in backcountry and park in case you didn't know

+ like mentioned before, how can you say you don't like someone if you don't know them ...

and if youre just judging on style, and i have to choose between pollard and 10 million other guys who ski all the same, i'd choose pollard

+ he designed some rad skis, he didn't just give his name, he actually made, tested and designed em .....
 
i guess you are one of the few who don't like him. it's all personal preference tho. just because he's a sick skier doesn't mean that everyone should love him.

byt the way, not liking can be neutral, it doesn't have to be hating.
 
try skiing switch in pow as smootly as EP does...its pretty damn hard. It may not be your thing, but its pretty hard to do.

yo dick cheese go watch his videos he puts everything on his skis for a reason, a photo of his wife. a picture he painted of a mountain he skied in japan. a wave he surfed. everything he does is so thought out nothing is random with skiing in his life. so go research before you talk shit on his skis
 
good skier, amazing style. Wouldnt say he's better then someone like Hugo Harrison or Shane mcconkey at shredding BC but still, his style is amazing and thats what make people love him so much.
 
Eric Pollard is the man. He has taken backcountry to a new level, he is actually putting style and steeze into the backcountry. I also like how he doesn't say that because he is skiing backcountry everyone else should he is just a really cool innovative guy
 
Idk how you cant like him. He is one of the most progressive, innovative skiers around. He also isnt afraid to try new things, and his artwork is siick.
 
He seems to be a very all around skier with a really unique really buttery smooth style. plus he seems like a chiller. I dont see what there is to hate but everyone is entitles to their own opinion.
