I have a 10 page research paper due on tuesday, but I got shit tomorrow night so I have to do it tonight. I can';t not do it because it's senior year and if I don't do this I don't graduate. It's a 10 page paper on the history of BMW racing, and i need atleast 7 source. If anyone wants to be a cool dude and point me in the direction of a site or two that would be cool and help out a fellow NS brother. But anyway screw this essay I really don't want to do it, but I am forced to. Sorry for the random thread but I just wanted to get it out there.

how about we turn this into an interesting thread. post the highest number of pages you ever had to write for a school paper.
 
Maybe start at the BMW website, then maybe go get a few different books on BMW. Just get all your info from one thing, and then cite a few minor details from the other sources so you use them all.
 
3-5 page paper on "what is love?" pertaining to our recent plays read in classic to contemporary engrish, due tommorow 1st period, 1 page left and 0 motivation, damn you NS
 
I am writing 6 page paper on Rachel Corrie right now...I have no idea what the fuck I am writing about but I am just bullshitting about American Privilege. I think we are supposed to relate it to some book but I have no fucking clue

at least you have an interesting topic though, im not gonna find any cause i dont care that much, but google should be your best friend for sources on this
 
i think google would be a good start. this shouldn't be a hard paper though because you basically and just look up a million facts about the company and talk about them chronologically for as long as you can, then move on to the next one.

longest i have done was a 16 pager on cultural ...something. i forget. i have a 12 page paper due in a month on ocular development though....
 
10 pages? You mean 10 double spaced? I could write that in a few hours. Just sit down and do work, don't let anything distract you.

Last semester I wrote a 21 page, double spaced, paper on the history and current social, political, and economic sentiments of cannabis in the US. I think that was the longest paper I've ever written. And that was after cutting it down from like 30 pages.
 
Have fun. I have to write a Document Based Question essay for history. Not looking forward to that shit.
 
I wrote a 10-page paper last year on the Iranian Revolution in a day, it wasn't that hard. Just sit down and do it. Don't get distracted.

Got an A- too, haha. I'm a bio major though, so those days are probably over. Now I get to study for tests and write up labs. Yay!
 
and i just noticed at the bottom of the page there are tons of references you can use.
 
40 page project single spaced.
20 court case analyses 1.5 - 2 pages each.
There were no pictures.....

It was for Anthro 390, Laws, Values, and Culture.....
Only other class that came close to that was Behavioral Science, Social Issues in which we had a 6 page paper due every week for 11 weeks.

In regards to the novel person... I had to do that for my acting class. It really wasn't so bad since its entirely creative writing. So much easier than research papers. But still a lot of writing. I really enjoyed mine and still have it.
 
some of us just dont have the gift of being able to write huge essays, i have to write a 20 pager (single :( ) for next week for sociology. i just cant get it started.
 
sounds like you can write up a storm on how youre a fucking idiot. i suggest going in that direction, or how not graduating high school because youre a fucking idiot is why one of your sources is the career link on mcdonalds website.
 
well i am going on hour 33 with no sleep at all. i was up all lastnight working on this damn paper. worked on it all day at school, and will propably stay up all night again tonight. I need this peper to be perfect so that i can get my damn grade up.
 
Good for you. Respect. I'm assuming you're in high school (sorry if I'm wrong) but in college you'll get really accustomed to it,especially if you have a major that requires a lot of writing. I'm an international relations major and each semester i write between 80-100 pages worth of papers for various classes. Next semester is my last one and for my thesis, I have one paper thats 50-80 pages on the dual identites of Hezbollah (enthralling, I know). Anyway, I guess my point is, keep up the hard work! Go on wiki search the page on BMW. Im assuming you cant cite it. So instead, go to the bottom of it, and use the links cited down there.
 
If you haven't figured out how to bullshit AT LEAST 10 pages by your senior year, then you don't deserve to graduate lol. 10 pages is a snap. I assume it's double spaced?
 
lol yes i am in high school, and it is somewhat easy to crank out 10 poages. BUT! if you have serious ADD, and OCD like I do then I get distracted so easy, then i get fixed on what i got distraced on. a perfect example, me replying to this thread, i should be writing this fucking essay but im here on NS. No matter how hard i try and force myself to try and stay off, i always find myself right back on here or facebook. and i have to type it, im not one where i can write it first tehn type it, i have to type it the first time. god this fuckin sucks lol.
 
another thing is that i drink Mountain Dew to keep me goin. i had a 1 liter of dew in about 20 minutes and i just went to go pee, and i shit you not i pissed mountain dew. it was not straight dew, but it had the tint of dew color in there. it was freakin sweet.
 
Sorry dude didnt know you were in highschool that sucks. Pretty sure if you hand that in late you will still graduate. They can keep you from graduating just bc you didnt do an essay your senior year haha

dude ive got mad ADD as well, you just gotta focus and sack up, wrote more than half of a 15-18 pg paper on coalition politics in India the morning it was due....
 
i also wanted to say that papers that are just historical summaries are very easy and this should not take more than 2-3 hours
 
I am currently procrastinating on a paper due tomorrow on how constructivist political theory is better than realist political theory. I am almost done. I swear.

My record, I think, I don't really remember, but something along the lines of 10 pages on T.s. Eliots poems The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock and The Wasteland. A comparison piece.

10 pages on two poems was a silly idea, next time, I shall choose a book. With lots of examples to choose from.
