Am I ready for Twins?

I am a late bloomer at 22 yrs old and have only been skiing a year and can pull 3's off smaller tables 15-20 footers pretty consistently as well as pull 180s landing switch and ride flat rails. Skiing is pretty much over here in the midwest where I live now and was gonna buy a pair of last years PEs when they are the cheapest but don't wanna be looked at as a poser on the mtn with twintips but not that good.

 
for sure get twin tips. you will look even worse if you dont even hit the park at all. get the twins for sure

 
everybody looks like a poser on the mountain, regardless of whether they have twins or not...if you'll have fun riding on them them by all means go for it. if skiing was about how cool people looked, then i'd want to kill myself because it's that attitude that makes the regular world boring...so....go for it

i say go for it. the PEs are good enough all around so that you should have fun almost anywhere with them.

i'd suggest gettin twins that are made for more than just park. still keep sidecut/rigidity, and things like that, in mind.

 
keep on progressing, you'll get realy good with twins, you'll be more confident

of course you're ready for twins. twins arent something you get when you get to a certain skill level. even if you couldnt do anything, but wanted to learn 180s or ride switch i'd suggest getting them.

Im out in Rapid City, South Dakota right now because of the military but I will be getting out in a few months to move back to Duluth, MN. Still in the midwest but the park at spirit mtn is much better.

yeah, i rode up the lift with this one guy who was like 50, he had PE's, just because he liked the way they rode, so it doesn't really matter if you even ski park or not.
