Am I not looking good for a 4 year college?

I’m going to be a senior in high school next year and I want to go to a 4 year college afterwards…my problem now is that I don’t know if I’ll be able to get into one…my grades for my junior year (which many say is the most important year) range from 69 to 82…I’ve only got two B’s and the rest are C’s…also I don’t participate in any after school crap cause I hate my school and I know many colleges like to see kids involved with their schools and crap… so I’m pretty much asking if there is any chance of me getting into a 4 year college

Just by the fact that you are still writing and school and crap and after school and crap I'd say your chances are slim at best.

No worries, I just only expect that kind of talk from my 11 year old brother. As far as your grades I'd say your better off going for a JC first because it sounds like you've been slacking through high school. Set yourself and do well at the JC and then transfer into a good school.

if you can afford it go to college, it'l be a bad school but the way things are these days, ull need all u can get

650k? typo i hope. if not i will kill you right now. And even if you mean 65000 that is EXTREMLEY high for drywall first year. I would say that 80% of drywall hangers make less than that. PLus that shit fucks up your arms soooo bad. At the end of the day you literally can't lift your arms.

get really high scores on the ACT or SAT, colleges take your gpa and combine it with your test scores to figure if someone is qualified to attend. the highter your test scores, the lowere your gpa can be. if you have a 3.0 and a 32 on the ACT, thats good enough to qualify you for most state colleges.

If you really aren't doing that well in high school, maybe you should reevaluate if you really want to go to a four-year school or not. College can be great if you're really ready to get into it, study hard, and get involved with something that really interests you; but if you're not feeling pretty academic about it, it can be just a waste of a lot of money. All in all, I'd say getting into college depends more on your motivation and your grounds for going - and good scores on the standardized tests.

join a few clubs, buckle down for a semester and give er.....with your grades right now, you could get into like Georgia Southern, Alabama, and Ole Miss.

Ole miss is a sick school too, and the only reason you could get in with those grades are because its in Miss, if it was anywhere else it would take like at least a 3.5 to get in...i love that school

Go there

i was supposed to grad 2006...and the way my grades were i would have ended up with a 3.0 but i switched to internet school to help out my gpa, and even though im going to have to take a year off next year because im finishing too late, my gpa is like 3.6

spend a year at a community college then transfer out... there are tons of schools that only require a 2.0 for transfer students

I slacked off in High school too until senior year when I took a full schedule, buckled down, and got the equivelent of a 3.8, which made my overall a 3.1 or so. That got me into schools fine. I applied to Cortland, U of Montana and Bridgewater and got in all 3 (not a big accomplishment). Went to Bridgewater (Mass state school) got a 3.6 and got into UVM. It'll work out if you bust your ass from now on.
