so heres the deal: i have 1st generation ARG's with STH 16 with helicoils. the bindings have been mounted for a boot size 26.5( i don't know the BSL or boot type). i have a BSL of 325 mm.

So the question is: will i have to remount the bindings and will doing so severely weaken the ski b/c of the helicoils?
 
you probably will have to remount (i just had to remount going from a 28.5 to a 27.5), but it wont weaken the ski too much more than if they didnt have helis
 
It's 2 boot sizes, so that will be an adjustment of anywhere between 20 and 25mm which I think you will find too much for STH16's (assuming they were originally mounted with the heelpiece in the middle of the track)

Remount could be on the cards
