i get the feeling my equipment is way heavier than what would be considered normal for jumps rails and all that good stuff. im on 04-05 PE's and rossignol boots (i think exp3 or something like that). i guess im wondering if im just weak or if certain setups make shit harder than it needs to be.

My dad's 171 PE's weigh more than my 188 JJ's. They are fucking heavy and I don't know how they pass as a park ski. I hate them.

i had the same skis last year for urban and i did not notice my ability be hindered at all, how much do you weigh? might be time to hit the weight room ha ha i kid i kid

ok well im sure they are heavier, but you should probably just get new skis anyway. i had those PE's and they suck. get a lighter poppy-er park ski and you will probably see a difference from day 1.

also how are your skis not beat as fuck. i really dont think i could make a park ski last more than 2 seasons

PEs are pretty heavy. Also, bindings can add a lot of weight depending on what kind you are on.

I've had two pairs of PE's and to tell you the truth I loved them...

You just have to work harder to get them to do the stuff you want, but it's totally possible man. They were bomb for jumps and not bad for rails. Just muscle that shit around man.

No this is not a claim. Just showing that you actually can do stuff on PE's...

i actually prefere a heavyer setup, my urban setup weighs almost nothing. its a foam cored ski with an all plastic binding and i hate it there is no awareness of wear your skis are
