hey, i was just wonderin' if i am good or have any sort of future in skiing. i started freeskiing about four years ago, before that, i was a big mountainer. by the time i was 11 i could do some medium 3's. i can sort of get out of the pipe now (i'm 12) but not really. i can do big mutes, criticals, japans, lui-kangs, safties, etc.

 
ok, people really need to stop posting shit like this, there are probably like 8 posts about how good people are nd how to get sponsord, its getting old. im not going to nswer your question.

But who care I know this guy that this is his first year of skiing and he is throwing D-spin900 who know next year you could be throughing switch bio 14 who knows every body progress at a difrent pace...

and a other thing I can throw backXs and some other stuff and maby 720 but If I whent in a comp I would probly throgh a toxic 180 witch is my most styling trick so its kinda hard to tell if some one is good because they could be able to cork1080 but it might be the nastyest huck ever so there's know one that can really tell how good u are unless they see you ski with there own eyes....

chris turpin could do backs, flatspins, baranis, and all sorts of corks and shit in his first year of skiing.

but he lives in whistler, and can ski every day, so progression would have to do with the conditions you ski in.

Who cares if you are good or not..if your 12 and can do cork 5s well, thats good for you, but damn, I dont care.

I ski for myself and dont care about comparing myself to other people. Some people will be better than others in short amounts of time, thats just the way it is, but if you were good enough and wanted to get sponsored, you probably would be. You're worried about your future in skiing and your only 12? man thats fucked up, who cares if your good or not, give it your best, then at the end of the day come home and know you've had a good day, thats what skiing is about.

Ya well i snow boarded last year and skied like 4 times the year before that. But I couldn't even carve 4 mounths ago. I learnt threes and shit in a mounth and then I got a concution and had to learn every thing over again I landed a backflip and I havn't bean able to actully land a cork 5 yet but I have landed on my ski's.

I agree, you know if you're good or not. Dont ask people who have never seen you ski before.
