Hey.......I was wondering if i would be good enough to go, I have been skiing for 13 years and I am really good, but I just got into park this year. I can hit boxes and do 360s on them and I have hit a few small rails but I don't usually land them. Also I can do 180s on jumps but thats pretty much it. I'm a beginner at park and I'm not sure if I would fit in at Windells because I hear everyone there is like pro..

well, you're already better than half of the women in the sport, so go for it

be ready to be pounced upon by many horny little boys though

I don't know about Windells, but when I went to Woodward at Copper is could only three on jumps and barely do a rail but I fit in fine and had such a great time. everyone there was just trying to get better and the vibe was so good. Plus there will always be someone better than you and always some one who wont be as good.

Can you handle disappointing droves of horny 13 year olds? if so yes. In all seriousness go its a great place to learn and make friends. I am still in contact with one of my friends i met there 2 years ago.

well im 16, i dont really want little 13 year olds haha. but yeah i want to go really badly..im thinking sessions 5 or 6. im not quite sure which sessions to pick.

anyone of any skill level can go to camp, cause after all, you go to camp to get better right? Who cares what anyone thinks. Besides, you're already good

You can definitely be good enough to go. You dont need to be good to go to windells the whole point of the camp is so that you can improve your skiing. Just make sure when you sign up you go into the begginers group.

hahahahahahaha i lost. but seriously, its a skill development camp, there isnt really a skill requirement besides being able to ski

What if you're new to park and like 16 years old do they have group for that? hahah i've done a tiny bit of park and i really want to get better but i really dont want to be stuck with a group of kids that are like 7 years old.

It's all about progression. If that's what you're after you should go.

Do be aware though that you will probably have your leg humped by at least one little kid, but just remind them that timberline is full of racer girls in spandex and you should be fine.

The rails sucked ballsack sesh 4 last year, man. Public park blew the lane out of the water. It was super cali chill.

anyone should go to windells if they have the opportunity. you dont have to good enough to go to windells. ive seen people go that are learning how to ski.

there aren't too many girls at each session, so usually all the girls are in 1 group together, or there will be 2 different groups of girls. it's a good time for everyone, don't worry about your skill level. you go there to have fun and get better.

hey! the first time that I went to camp I was 16 too and I could do about what you said you could. I loved it it was probably the best week of my life and I learned so much and all the girls there were super chill. Im going back this summer.. probably one of the earlier sessions like 2 or 3. you should definately go!!!

No.That is not your duty.

GTFO

Anyway, I am sorry for the rudeness of this fellow. I don't know him, honest.

If you have the money (I sure as hell don't) then go ahead.

do the girls always get put into groups? cause that'd be pretty chill, or do they mix guys and girls. and will i be in a group with people my age, because i don't want to be with younger kids

of course you dont even need to be good how do you think the good people got there they got as much practice as they could and doing the camp will get you better

Go to Windells if you want to ski and hang out with pro's, Come to Woodward at Copper if you want Hands on Progression, a full Gym (thats not packed), and an awesome On hill Park.

Been there bro.. It's the kids that are decent before hand that progress the most. Windells camper\facility ratio is weak.. you can barely get any tramp time and you have to wait in a huge line for the on campus air bag.

At Woodward kids have the opportunity to progress at the level they feel comfortable and learn anything they want from the first flip to dubs with a full gym, certified coaches, and tons of tramp time. oh and don't forget the mega tramp..

Yea they usually put all the girls in a group or 2 together, but if you want you can join whatever group really as long as no one minds. The girls groups are usually super fun though. Don't worry about sucking you won't feel left out (probably)

BUT if you really wanna have an even better time come to COC

hell.. all i know is how to do a shifty and going to windells because i want to learn how to ski park. ( i live in dc, snow! what snow? ) I don't give a f@ck is some brat is like your not good enough my advice go for it we all want to learn.

Are you good enough to go to Windells? If you can stand on a pair of Skis your good enough girl ! have fun! Have more fun if you hit up COC.

Do you like to hang out with stuck up little 12 year old's that bitch that their parents didn't buy them new afterbangs? then yeah go to windells.

If you want go to a real camp go to mhssc where you get better and have fun.

and honestly, that's what camp is about so don't worry about your skill you'll learn a ton

go to MHSSC!! way better vibe. much less pressure. not nearly as many horny little kids (although there are always those few which are everywhere haha) and cheaper by a long shot. sickest camp and really good coaches who actually care about coaching you not themselves (not saying all windells coaches do it but that was my interpretation when i was there. I've been to both and mhssc is better. hands down.

This will be my daughters 3rd year going to Windells sesssion 4. They have always put the girls in a seperate group(girls only), with a wide range of ages, and they are coached by a female coach as well. Her 1st year going she was the youngest in her group, being only 12, amongst girls who were as old as 17 I believe. They all got along great! She had the greatest time ever, and didn't want to leave. That being said, I can't speak for the older girls in the group, but they didn't seem to mind Allison, but took her under their wing. She was like the little sister ha.

This. Good luck.

I love how nice everyone is being. If some guy posted this they'd eat him alive and spit out the parts they don't like.
