hey..... i was wondering if all the people at windells are hella good because thats what i've heard.... and i dont wanna be the only skier there that can only throw a 180 and nothing bigger..... so do you think i should bother going?

definately go to a camp. but go to high north in whistler in my opinion. its sick. but go to a camp! best choice you'll ever make

yeah dude go to a camp to get better, not to worry about kids giving u shit. and if they do, go kick their ass most of these kids are like 130lbs anyways

alright thanks guys..... i just heard that almost everyone there can throw 5's so i didnt wanna show up there and be the only kid in the camp thats not throwin down

Camps...almost any of them, whether in Whistler or at Hood, are the best place to learn and progress...just work hard while you are there...

Don't worry at all, as long as you are a chill kid and you have fun, no one can (or will) say shit to you. There were like 3 kids that seemed to have never skied at all when I went there last year.

yup three years ago i went to a camp i couldnt even ski switch, it was very nice. i learned a lot. go to that camp you will have fun

no matter what camp you go to, if you put in the effort you'll be throwing down at the end of it. the coaches are there to help, and the other kids are usually really nice. they know everyone has to start somewhere, and they help you get better too. If you try, you'll be throwin' 5's by the end of it.

in 2008 i am going to rally some friends to invade the adult camp.

either that or just camp out for a week.

don't go to windells, by what i've seen it's not tight at all. me and my friends were going up to timberline this summer and by the time we got up to govy we found out it was closed so we stopped by windells on the way back. they had some sick shit like a skatepark and shit but everyone that went there was incredibly gay. everyone dressed exactly the same, they all wore like beat up clothes and shit but had thousands of dollars worth of gear and shit in their rooms. no one was kicken it either they were all downers and not tight....this might have just been the kids i saw, but i would never waste that much money on it

Im going to Windells this summer, and I suck. lol. Im going 2 get better and have fun. You should deff. go, its will be a good decision, and im sure youll get a 3 by the end of the week.

Thats cool. Im going 2 session 7 with some people i know. lol. Have fun though. My friends said they learned a lot and got a shitload of free stuff, and sticker. haha. lol.

yea man im going to sess 7. too.. but iv never been to a ski camp... and wont know anyone there lol.. but, i still think it will be fun

is anyone here getting that video package where you get a full DVD of you shredding shipped to you after camps over? if so I might just end up being assigned to you. straight up film bitch haha but whatuv i get to ride for freeeeeeeeeee

I have never seen someone get the video thing, bat that is only from 2 session 7's that I was in. There were a good number of kids getting still pictures though.

there will always be someone worse than you there. unless... you are that person, ok well nevermind that was a really dumb statement. But yeah dude shoot for it, the reason is to progress, i went to a ski camp last year and i couldnt even do a 180. all i could do was straight airs. so go for it.

Theres nothing wrong with being a beginner. Everybody has to start somewhere. But if you talk a lot of shit and you are a beginner, THEN people will be a dick to you, but I doubt you're a shittalker, so just be nice and chill, and you'll have FUN!

the only thing is, isn't it a lot of money?

I'm waiting a year cuz i want to be able to learn as much as i possibly can from them. I don't have enough money to do it every year, so that might be your only deciding factor.
