Am I fucked?

I chipped some of the base off of some rentals while in the park... Should I sharpie it back in and just go with it? I don't have the money to pay for these rentals

if you can still ski on them than its fine, rental skis arnt supposed to be pretty. If they notice just dont tell them you were park riding, say that it popped off while you were on the chair

How bad is it? Pics? If they they made you sign something or told you not to go into the park, I would just tell them you hit something on the hill. For that matter are you sure you did it in the park?

It could have been somewhere else, but I remember catching edge on a rail pretty bad.. Oh the shame

Whatever you do dont tell them you went in the park. The park is not covered by rental warranty whatsoever for most rental shops and they would probably fine you if they found out. Most people think skiing park "destroys" skis. Just say you hit a rock or feign ignorance. You can even say it was there before if the rentals were beat up when you got them.

Worst case scenario just plead insanity and book it outta there

If you have a waxing kit, you could quickly use some ptex to fill in the base. That way they might not notice or not care since it's filled in.
