i sent an email to a company that has a huge snowboard team (but sponsers some skiers as well) asking why no skiers on their team are listed on their site (the company will remain nameless). this is a sentence from the reply:

'if we did list skiers on our team, it would give us a bad image for our hardcore snowboard following.'

which makes sense, since i think some of us would be scratching our heads if orage has boarders on their team page...
