Hey just wondering if anyone knows when some amatuer competitions that are going to happeing this winter?

There are going to be a buttload here in vail, including the US Open. I'd say check your local hill's calendar on their site and see.

a lot of times you can even plan your own events and resorts are pretty cool with it.

true, but it's an open contest where anyone can compete without requiring an invitation and that's what makes it such a significant event.

there are so many am skiers unless you can throw at least a corked 5 u might as well not enter.

hey purf it would be alot easier to anser your qustion if u told us where u ski, like u want to enter comps on the east or west coast? or are ya travilling this winter... anyway i try to loose comps, if i wanted to win id be pro by now...
